Alright we all know war is bad but who can deny that the toys are fun?!

(Sorry I simply could not bring myself to put this in OT)

Let's see a piece of military hardware that you think others should see.

For me, hands down, it's the A-10 Thunderbolt!(It won't even do mach 1 yet all other supersonic jets go to the bench)

F-16 without a doubt.

Flying clean.

Flying.. dirtaay?

Grew up around them so not entire unbiased.

There's a bunch of runners up in this thread tho for sure, MLRS, A-10, AC-130, etc.

I'd also add in MH-60G, and the C-17.

F-22A is pretty nice too, but I'm an last gen guy. 🙂

youtube has no good vids but for my money it doesn't get better than the vulcan cannon, with a rate of fire so high there's no indescernible firing rate, it just sounds like an unmuffled motorbike.

A little too dangerous to be testing out among the population don't you think?

🙂

I think they keep 6-8 of those on battleships these days. You'e just not going to penetrate that wall of lead.

In the Vietnamese Conflict these were without doubt the most dangerous weapons that I had to face during my TOD, and what I consider to be the most versatile, beautiful and highly sought after weapons in ANY war. 😉

Seriously though, I really liked using this.. I named mine Smacks, and although she was a hand-me-down-swap from the Marines, she was trusty at medium range and with the right load could punch through the bush with little, if any stray.

edit - syntax
