There are benefits to living in upstate NY (Southern Tier). BARGAIN HOUSING MARKET

Look what a mere $52000 did for me back in 1997:

DUDE, I want that HOUSE!

I seriously am looking for a house JUST like that. I want a small 1-2 bedroom, previously owned by some old people that just died or moved into a nursing home. I can't wait to get my own home!

1-2 Bedroom??? It is bigger than that LOL! It looks deceptively small, but it has 3 bedrooms (2nd floor is a big 28x15 bedroom with its own 1/2 bath). Also a finished basement with bar (my home theater room ;) ). Plus a total of 3 bathrooms (2 full and 1 half).

a BARGAIN for 52K, dontcha think!?

niiiiiice, where exactly are you located? :D ;)

Its not my house ;) Its actually in New Albany, Ohio just outside of Columbus. To get to that house you have to enter through private gates and around a private lake. Lex Wexner lives in that area, if you don't know him he owns Victoria Secret, The Gap, The Limited, Lane Bryant, Bath & Body Works, Abercombie & Fitch and who knows what else. His house is imposible to get to see though. There is actually one little area up there that has polished granite curbs which has a headstone look to them.

I heard Lex Wexners house had 2000+ windows ;) Bend your mind around that one. I know he has his own cell tower.

I know the area you are talking about. Lex Wexner built houses for his close friends in this "neighborhood", a few of the children of the friends went to my school. I went to school with Lex Wexner's eldest son where his wife is conveniently on our board of directors. I heard that Wexner's dining room table is actually a marble floor, but when he has guests it rises out of the floor to become a normal table. He said that the table was ugly to look at with empty seats.

He has since sold off Abercrombie&Fitch and a few of his other investments. Don't forget he also used to own Galyans, but he gave it to his eldest son when he was born. I heard rumors about some of his new companies, but I have yet to find sufficient proof. If you have never been to Blacklick, there are some neighborhoods where you can find absolutely stunning houses that you would never imagine in a place like Columbus.

Wow! You all have some nice houses out there! I just bought a new house in San diego for way too much money and it didn't come with sh!t and is only 2000 square feet! I just showed these to my wife and she's like "whoah! we need to move out of here!" .

I'm thinking the same thing if I could only find a good job elsewhere. Just to give you an idea, the area I live in, you can sell a 2000-2500 sq foot home for around 450-500k!

It get's pretty crowded with your wife, daughter, and soon to be born daughter.

nice place. But i don't like the car garage. I like it if it has 2 door opener. One for each car.

Nope. Single door. Its not as wide as it looks, but the interior is two stories high. I think it was designed as a car port and was turned into a garage.

I made this site over 2 years ago when I still had earthlink...they never took it down :D.

My house

I've since gotten a much nicer digicam, but those were all taken with the cheapo freebie I got when I signed up for earthlink, hence the piss poor quality of images.

Holy Sh!t Bunker, we have the exact same house! My house is in Lawrenceville though. We are selling it though and trying to move closer to my new job in Alpharetta (off of the Windward Parkway exit on 400). Currently takes about an hour and 15 minutes to and from work. Too many miles, too much gas, and too much time for me.

Buyowner listing (Virtual Tour is kind of cool)

Well howdy neighbor! We're in the same damn subdivision!!!

That's amazing. At least you guys should get a chance to meet before the move over to Alpharetta. Bunker I think you and JW Middleton are already trying to schedule a time to meet. JW live down near you guys but also is looking to move. I'm up 985 from you guys towards Gainesville Georgia. Many people think there is only a Gainesville in Florida. Maybe could catch up with you guys too.
