lets say you were in the negative in a certain bank account..

Just pay it up to a zero balance. You'll either have to, or wind up having a collection agency coming after you in the future.

Bwhahaha, you can't close the account if there is a negative balance. The bank won't let you. If you neglect the account, they will close it for you and turn your negative balance over to collections. You either pay it now or pay it later, but theres no way you can close it with a negative balance.

Take some responsibility for your actions and pay up.

i tried that before.
They will not let you close your account if your in the negatives. It will keep on adding on the late fee daily (depends on your bank). Yes, you will have to owe the bank back this.

You cant close an account with a negative balance. If you leave it negitive with no activity, they may close it and write off the balanced owed, but they you may have to deal with colecters. Plus, you may be listed with chexsystems. Good luck ever getting a bank account again!
