Yes, there is usually at least one thread going on ATOT where someone extols the virtues of an art house Ale or the incredible kick of a 50 a bottle liquor.
Or moans or brags about how much they drank last night.

But who is NOT going to drink this weekend?

I think drinking is fine if you enjoy alcoholic beverages, as long as you're not drinking to get drunk. I find it odd that people talk about drinking like it's fun or entertaining, but then explain why they do it with descriptions like "puking all night" and "did some really stupid things". Doesn't sound like a good time to me. I'll stay sober, thanks, but you go ahead and do whatever you want.
 
Better Idea: Let's hear it for enjoying a glass of Jack Daniels on the rocks, whilst smoking a smooth CAO cigar! That's what I'm doing right now. 😎

I don't smoke...at least I consider myself a non-smoker. But I do enjoy the occasional (1 cigar a month...sometimes every 6 weeks) good stogie.
 
i won't be. not that i don't drink at all, but i don't feel the need to do it, plus I find the taste of most alcoholic beverages to be pretty damn nasty.
 
I am drinking mai thais tonight. They have a two drink limit at the place I'm going 🙁

Enough for me... 6' 4" 150lbs 😀

I will certainly be consuming alcohol this evening.

In fact, I already am.Grilling up some pork chops...how can you not have a beer while manning the grill?

Ah, nice. The one cut of meat I can say I have not fully mastered as far as getting the perfect amount of doneness + juicyness. :beer:

Yes; it is. That is why I officially changed his name (in my world) to Shoelace Man. I so named him in a thread that was about weight or height or diet or something like that.
 
I drank a bottle of Parrot Bay once and started throwing my friends through the apartment drywall. The result of which was:

1) I don't drink anymore
2) I hate anything with coconut flavor now
3) -$250 for wall repairs
4) a pretty good story to tell every now and then
