Reminds me of a story my dad told me of when he and some navy mates got into a bar fight in Australia when they made fun of the fact that their was ugly womens on the back of your money. Actually, now that I think about it, it was the Brits that took offense, the Aussies probably just laughed. This was like 50 or more years ago probably.

British people really do love their inbreds!

God doesn't have jurisdiction where I live.

Prince Charles is pretty ugly and dumb. I think that there's a good chance that republican feelings will build up once he ascends to the throne.

Hopefully. Australia will probably be one of the first to go. Modern republican sentiment is strong there.

I recently read that Jamaica is considering cutting ties to the monarchy and modernizing into a republic. How many third world nations will be more progressive than the UK? Even Afghanistan rid themselves of their monarchy.

Where in the UK? It's a big place.

It's not common knowledge, I didn't know that, none of the people I know knew that, not of my friends in America know that, none of my friends throughout Europe knew that, none of my friends in Australia and New Zealand knew that.

The UK is not a big place, it's smaller than Japan.

Look at our Republican field, and then recognize the US has no place to say a word on this topic.

Everyone has a place to say a word on this topic. In fact, everyone should do more than merely say a word. The world cannot tolerate this open barbarism for much longer. The British must be forced to change.

Monarchy is barbarism. It has no place in a modern society. It should be abolished with other barbaric practices such as sati, seppuku, female circumcision, slavery, etc.

There are many reasons why it's barbaric. It's outdated. It's harmful to society. It elevates one bloodline as being inherently superior to others. It is a discriminatory institution. It's an institution that has a horrific history and can be readily dissolved. It's corrupt. This is not an exhaustive list.

Which father are you referring to? I have 3. 2 of them are British.

The two British ones in your parents polygamist relationship

Something being outdated doesn't make it barbaric

Something being harmful to society doesn't make it barbaric

Something that elevates one bloodline as inherently superior to others doesntmake it barbaric

Something being easily dissolvable doesn't make it barbaric

Something being discriminatory doesn't make it barbaric

Something with a horrific history doesn't make it currently barbaric

The monarchy isn't harmful to society
The monarchy isn't discriminatory
