Read through a few pages of the lounge and there were nothing regarding hobbies..

Mine are:
  • basketball
  • internet
  • Android apps (weird one I know)
  • Video games

So what are yours? 😎

Models, rockets, Games,and reading.

I haven't got a new model in a while. can't decide what to get. As for rockets we launched them a few times over the summer and destroyed it =( lol

Neffing, computers, home theater, retro gaming, R/C stuff, home automation, really anything plug & play electronic. Bodybuilding when I'm not too busy eating cookies. Cooking.

Sex
Drugs
Rock & Roll

More like:
Gym, cooking, beer (IPA's) & whiskey (bourbon) socializing with friends at the local bars, and my #1 hobby - the job which consumes damn near 60hrs a week every week.

Retro gaming interests me the most out of this entire thread 😛 What retro gaming do you do?

It started out with modding an old Xbox 1 for emulators, then I got an X-Arcade Tankstick (which is awesome and 100% worth the money for durability alone), then starting messing with other stuff - USB adapters for retro controllers, fullscreen PC GUI's, etc. I have a couple cabinets I want to build from scratch using old CRT TV's...someday. Haha. Here's some fun links:

There's still so many great old console/arcade games I haven't played, and most of them are kid-friendly so I don't mind my kiddo goofing around with Pacman or Mario or whatever.

Expensive, but nice to have it available. I subscribed this year.

Nice! X-Arcade has a lot of DIY gear available now, including no-solder circuit boards & standalone buttons & joysticks, as well as arcade-grade monitors:

Their pricing is awesome too - $79 for a board, 2 joysticks, and 20 buttons tested to 10 million cycles. People give away CRT televisions for free on Craigslist and imo those look the best for retro gaming short of getting a dedicated $500+ arcade monitor or candycab. I've got a pair that are in process now - one with a KADE controller and one with an X-arcade controller. Just need time to finish cutting the wood & throw some graphics on it!

How much would you say you've spent on retro gaming alone? Just an estimate 🙂
