This is why religion is bad folks... It gives a reason to stupid actions.

From one non-believer to another:

Grow the fuck up.

You're agnostic, we are not the same bucko.

Just know that by being a self righteous prick, you are the same as the theists you claim to hate. In effect, you ARE what you hate.

Dumbass.

Actually it seems like you're acting much ruder than he is.

And you'll know they christians by their love, by their LOVE!
Yes you'll know they christians by their love.

Sing along folks!

Only to people who give non-believers a bad name. Oh, and to bigots with massively hypocritical double standards.

nope, anything can be used as an excuse.

Not quite. In this case, this person was flat out offloading responsibility on the fact that "God told them to do it"

Take religion out of the equation and the responsibility falls on the driver's shoulders. What else are they going to say, "The bird flying by told me to do it, so I did"? Yeah, it's every bit as nutty as saying God told them to do it, but that's not socially acceptable and they'd be properly labeled as the nutjob they are.

Nope, the driver could have used anything else. Bottom line is there is nothing that can stop people from blaming something/someone else for their own actions. Religion is just convenient for some.
