Hopefully this means JJ Abrams stops using him as a plot device in the new Star Trek movies. Unless of course we can get Walter Bishop to bring him back from the other universe.

I'm shocked----wow. I knew he was suffering from COPD. He was also tweeting a lot about cherishing your family and publishing reflective poetry. I wonder if he knew it was coming to an end?
 
I remember watching TOS on reruns when I was a kid. Sad to hear about Nimoy's passing. Oh well, at least we still have the Shat.
