No!!! I knew he was in the hospital with chest pains last weekend. This is really sad - almost like hearing about the death of a RL friend. Spent untold hours watching Star Trek - especially in high school. Must have seen every episode at least ten times over the years.

Mr. Nimoy wrote years after the original series ended.
But that wasn’t such a bad thing, he discovered. “Given the choice,” he wrote, “if I had to be someone else, I would be Spock.”

RIP LN, you lived long and prospered, your superb interpretation of the Spock role had us mesmerized for generations..
