I miss TSS. Always did like seeing Leo jump into that 71 ragtop Cutlass and peel out.
 
I don't know the Arrington guy but it did seem kinda trollish. Everyone knows Laporte, and it's stupid to insinuate that the free unit impacted his review. :thumbsup: to Leo.

Leo was always good on TecTV, him and Patrick Norton would joke back and forth a lot. This clip was win, but the one where they added Keyboard cat made it even better. Showing the cat a few times as the blow up was just starting was fucking hilarious. wait for it, wait for it!

I wish Techtv had stuck around. Ziff Davis really screwed that one up. I think if they were to start a channel like it now that it would be a huge success.
Imagine being able to flip on the tv and watch motherboard, OS and cpu reviews, watch interviews with company leaders at nvidia, intel, or MS ,that is what techtv did.
Don't even mention that piece of crap channel G4 that took its place. I would rather watch paint dry.

i never would have expected that from Leo, lol. I haven't seen him in anything since The Screensavers, but he never seemed like the kind of person to do that.

I've never heard of this Arrington guy before either and oddly enough, this other Youtube video said he is "well known in the tech community." While I may be a little out of sync with tech compared to what I used to be, I've still never heard of him, but I do know Leo as I used to watch TSS back in the day.

I have been listening to Leo for a month or so. He seams like such a nice guy I never expected this type of response.
 
I am an avid watcher/listener to TWiT.TV podcasts and the Gilmour Gang has been really going down hill. They seem to have real animosity towards each other with Leo generally trying to calm the waters and keep the show moving. I guess when Arrington turned his sights onto Leo, he had just had enough and Leo blasted him. Good for Leo. He should follow through on his threat and take the Gilmour Gang off his lineup of shows.

Nobody expected it, that's why even after the 3rd screw you guys they were all still saying "oh he's just joking with us"

as for the person asking if there's anything as good on-line. Patrick Norton has a pretty good show called Systm. (no e) Him and Pete Chang are pretty good together, I have only seen a few episodes. But the one where they used car batteries to make a super UPS that would power a computer for like a day during a blackout was pretty funny. I don't think Peter is the regular co-host. I've always enjoyed Patrick, he's a geek who knows a lot of techie shit, but he also knows a lot about cars. And doesn't come off as geeky as somebody like Martin Sargent.
