A real problem with marijuana is that stupid people shouldn't use it. If you are dumb and smoke marijuana you become retarded. Unfortunately now we just have a bunch of retarded teenagers taking dabs in California acting like they are a part of this pot revolution. Guess what dipshits? You aren't part of shit, you are just some retarded kiddies getting high on your parents dollar. The man isn't keeping you down, your parents are the man and when you wake up out of your haze from all those dabs, and, assuming you haven't spent all your parents money, you will be the man too. 10 years from now when you get out of rehab for marijuana because you were the only people stupid enough to get addicted to something that's not really addictive, but you used it in such concentrated levels that it messed with your brain chemistry, you will be blaming marijuana for all your life's problems.

Well, you won't find anyone smoking anything in restaurants or most other public access indoor areas. I still find far more people lighting up their cigs in restricted outdoor areas (like Hospital campuses or restaurant sidewalk/patios) vs people smoking joints. But in Mark's Red Rocks example, concerts there have been that way since well before legalization.

I think as the market settles out this will happen. Right now pot is a bit too expensive to make edible forms attractive to most, as from what I understand it takes a lot more pot to get the same effect as an edible. Eventually the market should lower the price where concentrated forms will become affordable, and that will make THC edibles more attractive.

This is not really true as you can use much cheaper product to make edibles. The real issue is that eating it is much harder to control how much of the THC and Cannabinoids you are taking in and the length of processing those drugs is dependent on your digestive system which can severely vary depending on time of day, other food eaten, how hydrated you are, etc. Not to mention it takes about an hour for pot food to kick in and it lasts up to several hours for the high. I've actually found that the best way to take an edible is to use something like a sucker. It quickly disolves in your mouth and starts acting quicker than a normal edible and it is easier to keep the dosage similar in each one because it is a hardened liquid. Solids tend to be difficult to regulate dosage with.

If those people didn't abuse/blame pot it would be alcohol, or harder drugs, or something else. You are blaming the messenger. Stupid lazy people are always going to be stupid and lazy, if not on weed on worse.

The difference with weed is if those stupid teenagers ever decide to clean up their act they don't have a DUI or felony cocaine charge following them around their entire life. They can drop the dabs and become a product member of society at any point. With non-pot drugs usually the real consequences of abuse aren't so easy to sweep under the rug.

That's still a kind of early adopter problem. Noobs will be noobs, but things should be better once the initial pot frenzy is over and the general public has more experience.

I'm more concerned with the idiots that think "it's just a plant, man", and let underage kids have weed. All the research I've seen indicates that Marijuana's risks are quite low, unless you're under age 25. Much younger than that and it messes with brain development, which results in stereotypical pothead dropouts.

True story. Went to a party once, brought a date, a stripper that was friends with my supervisor at Best Buy. I was young, alcohol was new to me. I ended up playing a drinking game, chugged a coffee cup full of gin. FULL of gin. I passed out, woke up with her grinding me to Keith Sweat with a bunch of people cheering and laughing, was drooling on myself. Hard liquor and newbs don't mix, but I learned from that experience about pacing myself.

Good point. Still pisses me off when I know a lot of good people out there who are discriminated against because of these idiots. Basically dumb people ruin everything but that story is as old as civilization.

If anything pot should be legal because it is harder to ruin your life with pot. The biggest danger an idiot has with pot now is due to its black market nature. The BM means maybe dealing with dealers who have harder drugs than pot.

I think the edible industry needs regulation itself.

I don't like the idea that a small piece of chocolate is a major dose. I wouldn't want 'one soda' to get me sit down silly stoned. Maybe after 3-6.

The marijuana market has always preferred concentrated doses, but this is a reflection of prohibition. If penalties are based on weight, you want the most bang per gram as possible.

This needs to be phased out, and most likely will to some degree over time when there's no risk/weight ratio at play.

This is for pain relief, and is really all I need. But I had to try the #3 High Times 2014 (the weed). It looks pretty good :/
