I did try expert. Still "Meh" for me.

I'd love to try out zombie however..that might win it for me. Human play is pretty dry to me for some reason.

Yeah, if anything we should all rally at the fact it is COOP. We need more games like this.

If you pulled all the 5man dungeons and raid dungeons out of WoW and created a game where all you did was coop in those dungeons I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Don't worry about the game sucking now. Just wait until all the user created maps come out. They'll be insanely harder and probably longer. I dislike how short these maps are and how easy the game is right now. I want it to be like mega-insanity.

My game has crashed several times while playing online, I'd be in the middle of a battle and the game will completely lock up, have to ctrl+alt+del to end it. Anybody else experience this?

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit, Radeon 3870 video card.


I also experience problems with insurgency but different, the game has never crashed on me while playing, but if I try to join a server from the steam server list from the windows desktop, it will crash as soon as the game loads up. I have to launch the game first, then join a server, then it works fine.

Other games like DOD Source work fine, no problems.

Yep, it's really common. Game crashes a lot with 8.7 Catalyst and 4850 crossfire. I didn't have as many crashes with 8.10 drivers and single 4850. But.... I love crossfire and only 8.7s work with crossfire on my system. (X48)

played the demo. a little better than i thought (pretty intense) it would be but i can see it getting old way fast. definitely was scared of being attacked. the zombies are pretty easy to kill. i hate when a boomer explodes on you and you get that zombie attracting goo all over you. they just swarm you and you can barely see. looks like they copied Resident Evil on a few things too.

I only played SP (I played as the older dude) but your teammates are fucking retarded. they either stand in the way or you're like 50 yards ahead of them all by yourself and then they'll come up to join you. It's like i thought we were supposed to stick together? maybe they are using me as bait?

I have unlimited pistol ammo but i have limited main weapon ammo and i can only carry 1 pain pill, 1 health kit, and 1 explosive??? seems a bit retarded.

the flashlights suck. weapon sounds suck.

Also, isn't it about time for a graphics upgrade? that engine is really showing it's age.

definitely not worth $45-50. maybe $20 at most.

I generally disagree with your tastes most of the time Pontifex but you've summed it up nicely for me. I think alot of people are buying into the hype.

I will buy it when it it goes on sale to at least 29.99. I'm disappointed I can't play the infected in this demo as I have mentioned that could be the games saving grace.

Vista x64, 8800gts, locked up as soon as I went down the stairs into the first room. It just locked up and wouldn't do anything. Task manager was how I killed it too.

We need Romero zombies with limited ammo that are tough to bring on

this is like playing zombie panic with no reload

Also, I ABSOLUTELY HATE games with unlimited spawn capability, it totally ruins the atmosphere when you know hordes of zombies spawn out of nowhere.

Essentially you just run from room to room and await giant zombie spawn or hold up in a room and await giant zombie spawn. I see little room for tactics but I'm going to delve into this more and give it another shot when full release comes out....

Every time a game comes out, people bash the graphics. So what games would you consider have good graphics then? I still consider Half-life 2 and the later episodes to be awesome, yet people always bash the source engine. What games are people playing that have so much better graphics?
