No problems here... I always get 700kb/s or more. 🙂 I downloaded the demo at 1.5mb/s

Then played with a different group on Advanced and there were hordes all over the place. One while first leaving the rooftop and another while going outside. The like 7 more. Damn that was hard as hell. Then some numbnut decides to run ahead of everyone and hit the switch to open the door to let the horde in and not let anyone know. Luckily only I survived.

I beat expert pretty easily with bots... I usually die in expert with people because of them doing fucking friendly fire.. Pisses me off so much... Stop using shotgun unless you are in front peeps! Pistols only if you are in the back!

:-/ I am trying right now to beat the two levels on expert with only myself and no bots or team mates... It's very difficult because of the smoker and hunter... If it wasn't for those two I'd be alright. I'd be able to handle the tank or witch... it's just those two... I can't fight at all.

I played it in single player yesterday. The opening cinematic was badass, I loved it. The game is a blast, but ATM it's nothing amazing. Can't wait for new content though, I remember wasting hours playing through zombie mods in CS with RL friends.

Also, SMG is fucking worthless too IMO.

It's best weapon for doing what I do... Single player... 🙂 It's really the best starting weap because you can kill smokers with it, shotguns you can't.

I had a good time playing through the demo a few times, but it got a little old. The infinite respawns annoy the crap out of me, it's completely illogical to have zombies popping up out of an area you just cleared. I really wish the zombies were of the classic Romero variety, moving a little slower but requiring head shots to take them down. All I have to do now is stand there and blast away at the mob, It'd be way better with head shots killing them and everything else just taking off limbs/slowing them down. It'd be awesome to have an obscene number of zombies coming at you at a normal zombie pace while you've got limited ammo, and having to watch out for the ones on the ground that aren't dead but have just had limbs blown off. It'd also be cool to have the option of playing with more players and more zombies on larger maps, maybe two teams of four that have to meetup somewhere in the middle.

The speed of the zombies feels un-natural, it looks at times like they are moving in fast forward animation. Also, the overall visual quality feels cheesier than half life 2. Due to the crashes I and these other factors I am not really enjoying it so far but I will spend more time with it in a little while.

interesting tactic - i played with some people who did melee only, except for bombers, witches, and tanks. honestly, it's not that bad since melee does not hurt other players 🙂

Melee kills zombies??? I've done it countless times and it's only ever knocked them back so I can shoot.

Yeah this is a side effect of the last patch Value released. I was able to fix it by going to the left 4 dead forums. It was very annoying because it happen at least for one whole minute or close during the beginning of the second map all the time. Without the latest patch I never had the issue.
