Yep, because we are angry at the Anti-American Republicans as they destroy the Country.

I'm a self-described liberal, and I'd have to agree with them here. When I look at the democratic party, I see a party of no ideas. They are anti everything, completely reactionary. What they need is something like "Contract for (really Contract on) America", they need IDEAS.

I was excited when Dean got elected the leader, but then he just started his anti-Bush, anti-Tom DeLay, etc.

GODDAMMIT GIVE AT LEAST ONE IDEA YOU STUPID DEMOCRATS.

The closest I've seen is a weak SS proposal. And it was really weak.

I agree... but when you're the minority party, what's the point of proposing ideas that will just get voted down on partisan lines no matter how good they are?

For the sake of discussion.

To give options to the centrists in Congress.

For political gain.

Even during the election, Kerry gave very few proposals and did not highlight them. He ran on an anti-Iraq, anti-Bush platform. I for one voted for him not because he had any good ideas, but because Bush sucks.

The same goes for "sheeple", "bleaters", etc. I kind of like "the Bush faithful" and "the Bush flock"; both underscore their unquestioning, cult-like devotion. I'd prefer something a bit shorter, however.

I think I've got it. What does everyone think about identifying them as "BSers" (or "BS'ers"), short for Bush Supporters? It's short, easy to remember, and somehow seems so appropriate.

Good idea, though I don't think they need liberals necessarily. I think it would be a great start if real, traditional consevatives took the Republican party back from the neo-fascist thugs and religious zealots who've hijacked it.
