I actually agree with what the manager is saying. Especially if they aren't exaggerating and it has happened more repeatedly.

If the food sucked I would throw a whole plate away. I was at a Chinese buffet place a few weeks ago that was so bad I did throw quite a bit of food away.

I would go back and try something different. I did that the other day. It was just as bad. I threw quite a bit of food away trying to find something edible to satisfy my hunger so I could get out of that place.

Sounds like they're piling a plate with food X, eating one little bit of it, then going and piling up again with the same stuff. The customers don't seem to be contesting this. Yeah, three cheers for the restaurant for kicking them out. It's one thing if you're going to eat the food. But if you're just taking food to throw it away, that's stupid. I'll walk away from foul food at a buffet, but if the egg rolls aren't good, why go get more egg rolls?

They should be banned from a HUGE variety of buffet/restaurants. I hate people who do that kind of crap. Not only does it waste the places money, it is also a HUGE waste of food. I hope the kids get new and better parents.
 
Most all you can eat buffets in NY area has a little sign on table that says they are allow to charge you extra if you leave excessive food on your plate.

i went to a sushi place that charges you for all you can eat + they'll charge you the price of the rolls you didn't eat.

I realized that after they brought me my entire order ... i don't think i've ever been that stuffed. It was delicious though 🙂

No I have a brain. And being spoiled by eating at one of the best Chinese restaurants for the last 25 years I am very picky about Chinese food.....most of it SUCKS. When I go to a buffet I assume the food is not great so I make a sampler plate with a little of the things that LOOK good to decide what I am eating. This family sounds like a bunch of fat cows with no brains. I was merely pointing out that if the FOOD SUCKS......I WILL THROW IT AWAY.
