slightly harder than spanish but not much, in college I took French and Latin at the same time and it wasn't too bad.

Did you make an almost identical post, but have Spanish in the place of French? this is oddly familiar.

French is just hard to learn through taking courses on it. Your best bet is to submerse yourself in a french culture for about 2 weeks... you'll come back fluent without having to memorize stupid rules / words you won't ever have to know in a million years.

I didn't say mastering it Nik, but think about it. If you're forced to understand / speak the language for like... basic survival, then you're going to pick it up a lot faster than doing worksheet after worksheet on it, no?

Sadly I have seen it happen with that accent, then 5 years later she has 6 kids and he comes home drunk every night.

Le Français, c'est ne pas difficile, oui? C'est tres bon, c'est vrai? Oui, oui.

(In the middle of his 4th year of French. I can now read movie reviews properly, but I can't form sentences for poop.)

French isn't hard as long as you have a good teacher. For me French was painfully hard :p.
