Meat has been salted for thousands of years. Not like Wendy's is just creating new things...

yes it is salted to preserve it through the lean winter months. I don't think Wendy's is going to store those burgers in wigwams outside the restaurant though.

Almost all meat served anywhere has been salted. Everything from coldcuts to pork to beef. Hell, even chicken typically has salt on it at some point and time. I guess if you don't do it that's fine, but this isn't some Wendy's specific behavior.

Personally, I think it would be damn cool if they stored burgers in a wigwam.

Funny. Makes you wonder what other wacky training videos other companies have under wraps.

Yah, I've always salted my hamburger patties when making them at home.

* I started to say "I've always salted my meat..." but thought better of it :p

Damn, that would have set me up for a perfect "shake it like a salt shaka' " joke.

Okay............
This is why people working at fast food resteruants don't give a sh*t:
You degrade them with some stupid video on how to cook a hamburger patty, what ever happened to just showing someone?
