I have a ti4200 nvidia card with dual head enabled. I can not seem to get the tv app to go full screen on the second screen. If I drag it over to the 2nd screen and enable full screen it jumps to the first screen. anyone know how to fix this?

Also when I drag the TV app to the second screen and manually expand it to full screen. If I close the app then restart it app, it comes back in its default small size on the 1st screen. Really annoying. I enabled the nview driver settings to remember application position but it made no difference. any ideas on this.

This is a nice card and the remote is great for $60. I just want to get past the two obstacles above.

Peyton, thanks for the tip.

I have no idea how it could have been the problem, but I DO have Norton AV. I disabled scanning of instant messaging and then rebooted. Now the audio does not cut out anymore. It was cutting out in both FM and TV mode within 60 seconds (usually less).

Initially depressed, now I am impressed with this card. The TV even looks very nice on this cheap monitor when sitting side-by-side with my TV. Time for a better and bigger monitor!

Thanks again,
Wildcats

The full screen only shows up on your first screen because the first screen is designated as your primary display. In a dual display setup, video will sometimes only play on the primary monitor and will always only play full screen on the primary monitor. In order to change this, go in your video card dual head settings and change the primary and secondary displays.

ok, found a few little tid bits of info worked out.....

For sound on the PVR-schedule record....must go to Line out Control Volume---select Wave, that seemed to fix the schuled recording...don't know why it doesn't affect the manual mode.

Also, for the person who had scratchy sound on the record, use about 40-50% on the record volume. That seemed to fix my problems.

I had downloaded the drivers, and did a few short term scheduled recrodings....(5 minutes) and it didnt' lock up

Right but I have a large 20' inch as my main screen and a 18.1 inch as a second screen off to the side. I do not want the tv display on the main screen and I want to keep the 20" as the main screen. I'd be happy enough to manually expand the program to nearly full screen and have it open and close on the 18.1 secondary display. Yet it insists on opening on the mail display in the standard smaller window. Oh well, looks like I can not acheive what I described.
Anyone want to buy the card for $55 shipped to you? 1 day old.

I checked out the options on NAV and could not find anything about disabling instant messaging, Where is it in version 2002?
My main problem is the sound cutting out when I open Outlook express, I dont use instant messaging.

Thanks

Does this card do uhf? Everything works perfectly for me except I can't get any channels above 13 off my antenna. Also, is there a stereo indicator light for fm or anyway to tell if the signal is stereo for fm?
TIA,
HF

I'm having a problem similar to what some others above have experienced. Namely, the WinFast PVR EPG function doesn't seem to be working. When I click on a show on titantv.com, it adds the entry to my recording schedule, but there's a question mark icon beside it. The meaning of this icon isn't mentioned in the manual, but I assume it means something is wrong. However if I go in to edit the entry the icon becomes a blue clock as it should be. So I check the box beside the entry and save changes. But when I go back into the recording schedule the entry's icon has become a question mark again. What gives? Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I upgraded from tv wonder ve.
With tv2000xp, you get S-video input, stereo (big ++++), remote control, and better picture (imo).
Definitely worth the upgrade.

Xanager, download the latest drivers from leadtek. They come w/ the EPG, which appears as a little green button in the upper left of the WinFast PVR app. Clicking on it takes you to the titantv website.

Here is the drivers, the third one down (2003/1/9) Multilanguage supports USA EPG

WinFast TV2000 XP driver and the latest release version of WinFast PVR/ FM Application with USA EPG support. Update the driver before installing the AP. Please click the icon on the lower-right side to get the driver installation reference. (Note! Please have DirectX 8.1 installed before installing the driver and AP.)

I think they didn't edit the .inf files, every driver has the same 6/1/02 on it.

Sounds like a sweet card, but I got two quick questions. First, I've read the whole thread and my brain is spinning from all the information given.

1) Does it do direct mpeg-2 recording, so that I can burn SVCDS? (Mpeg 2 is the format I need to do SVCD, right?)

2) Does the card have output, so I can output to my television? (or do I use my AGP card for that?)

nice thread - I'm thinking of building a Tivo type of system (for cheap) - sounds like this card will work fine - but got a few questions:

1. would like to throw this card and a new large hard drive into an old system thats collecting dust (e.g. intel 200 mhz cpu) - do you think this would work ? or is a fast newer cpu/MOB required ?

2. is there any software out there for use with Dish Network satilite programming (noticed that previous discussion about Direct TV).

3. Also - found this side http://www.titantv.com that would be useful in this endevor - any know of similar sites ?

4. anyone know how (point to an url) to setup the software to get Tivo type of fuctionality.

thanks

ditto on getting the leadtek to work with the EPG and titantv.com......now i just need to figure out some of the sound issues....getting static on the dubs now, i thinks it due to the line volume jacked all the way up and it is distorting...

I would be interested in hearing about the differences (strengths and weaknesses) of this card vs. the comparable card by Hauppauge, the WinTV Radio (model 401). From what I have read, the TV2000XP is based on the newer bt878 fusion chip while the WinTV 401 is based on the bt878, bt878a, or bt878khf. The TV2000XP has what appears to be a larger remote control with more features on it. The TV2000XP appears to come with better software. The TV2000XP comes with an audio Y cable. What else is different?

Thanks.

I do have the little green EPG button. When I click it, it takes me to the titantv site and shows my local listings. Here's where the problem comes in. I click the little "watch it now button" or the "add it to schedule recordings button" and a box comes up for me to confirm it. When I click this, it sends the data to Winfast PVR, but then Winfast pops up a dialog saying, "The data is invalid." Any ideas?
