To what ?
I hope you don't mean the deal in question. This deal is over 2 weeks old on a refurb. But the link is the first word in the first post if that IS what you're looking for.

lol

actually if it's not in stock, a direct link will only bring you to a search results page.

Depending on how you do the search it brings you to the card that is in stock. In this case as it stands right now, that would be new ones.

And those new ones, which have a pretty nice price next to them, $284, have an "auto-notify" button; so, they aren't actually in stock, at this moment.

I was thinking that if they are selling the new one's again, it won't be long before they have some more refurbished models, assuming the quality assurance inspections of the new cards are about at the level that we've seen with the refurbished. ;)

Got mine a week ago and It is running fine.

You have to have a very good power supply to run this card properly.

I sent it back to leadtek and just got back this morning! Well! Leadtek does not seem to fix the bootup artifact. I did use single power line. I had a Antec 350 with one 80g HD and xp 2400+ no OC. Well! I'll have to send it back to newegg then.>_< ( might try with my antec 550 tomorrow)

Hmm...you need a new PSU son...350 is barely enough to run the Radeon 9800 Pro and respective computer components...dont' think they're gonna ship u a 6800GT that runs on less power than the rest of 'em~

solution to your boot-up artifacts, get a new power supply, otherwise, you can RMA till the cows come home but that ain't gonna fix your issue

Just to throw my personal experience in...It's in the card not the power supply. I had the same problems with my first a400gt(11/04). New OCZ Powerstream, no change. Rma'd... fixed. For some reason Leadtek had a bunch of bad cards, but if you get a good one it'll they are better than most 6800gts. They are quieter and run cooler.

So, I want a 6800GT but, I'm not so sure if I want a refurbished one. What do you guys think? NewEgg has a 15 day warranty on refurbished items. Do you send the video card back to newegg or to leaktek for RMA? Do you have to pay shipping to Leadtek?
Do they just fix the card or send you a new one?

What about the 350W power supply thing? The video card will not work?

Thanks,

I'm going to order from newegg today. From all the posts I've came to the conclusion that if it doesn't work to RMA to leadtek and not newegg. Am I correct on this? Anywho, good luck to the rest of you guys who are ordering one as well or already have one.

edit: Looks like I'll have to buy a new PSU as well...

Seems like you've already gotten all the facts, eventually you have to make the tradeoff for yourself. Yes, you have to pay shipping to Leadtek or Newegg, call it $8 or so.

I got my card back from Leadtek RMA. It works perfectly fine. They shipped it out fast too; Leadtek shipped out my replacement card the day after they received it.

Nope, looks like they put the retail non-refurb version in its place.

So, for 284 you can get a brand new GT, doesn't seem like such a bad deal...
