Limited supplies, but the cards will ship in a few weeks according to leadtek people. I am assuming that when that happens, 6600GTs AGP will drop into the sub $200.

Called xpcgear today to see if I can get my other item shipped off first. Basically they told me that the manufacturer hasnt released these vid cards out yet.... So when they get released, thats when WE will get them. I hope this is soon, my gonads cant wait any longer....

I'm thinking about jumping on that PNY 6800 deal at compusa. $230 with a $30 mir = $200 + tax.

That dell widescreen has really taxed my 9700np. Battle for Middle earth gets really slow whenever the Balrog shows up.

I've searched all over, there is no place selling leadtek 6600gt agp cards whatsoever. Just previews here and there. So I'm semi-re thinking how i feel about this since it seems that these video cards do not exist yet...so until leadtek gets them off the assembly line and out to resellers then this waiting is fine with me. Hard to get annoyed about getting a card at a discount from a mistake that they are honoring when the card doesn't exist yet. But if they exist and there is any delay, i will become so annoyed i will have to type one of these things,
o_O

Being serious, now that i realize these cards aren't anywhere i really can't condemn anyone for making me wait, there is nothing that can be done.

Im starting to think that Leadtek is having production issues. Try finding a Leadtek 6800NU AGP anywhere in stock and they are all backordered until next year. If they aren't making the mainstream cards then what are they making????

Edit: Newegg just got the Leadtek 6800NU AGP's in stock...So maybe there is hope

hey, you're right...they do, but it says that its a regular 6600 AGP, but the pics say the GT version...weird...and the clock speeds are messed.

Well.. we are talking about Leadtek one here. There are several other 6600GT AGPs in stock, for example Gameve has one from Albatron, and Xtreme Gear has quite many 6600GT AGP in stock. And all of them are cheaper than you refer to.. But the problem in this thread is "Leadtek." And there's no Leadtek 6600GT AGP available.

I would prefer to pick up the Leadtek 6800Nu at newegg for $20 more than the BFG 6600GT at Chumbo...

Not if you ever watch Video on your PC. The Video section of all 6800 GPU's is FUBAR. Fixed on 6600 and below cards. Games are fine, but vid will jump to 90% or more CPU usage, should be more like under 40%. nVidia admits they blew it.....

Waiting for BB to carry the BFG 6600GT AGP myself..got tons of GC's to use!

Luckily I don't watch video on my pc although I do have a video capture card in it. I though that NVIDIA was supposed to fix that problem in an upcoming driver release.

gah, this is so retarded. i feel like i should have kept my order for the XFX 6600GT...same specs, but much better looking card, even though AT reviewed all the 6600GTs and rated the leadtek as #1, and the XFX as #2...
