This page has a pattern on its right. When viewed in my LG L1753TR LCD monitor, scrolling the screen causes it to start blinking and to get a yellow tint. This is even more noticeable if the browser window is un-maximized and slowly dragged.
Clearly this phenomenon happens elsewhere as well. It doesn't happen on my CRT monitors, but it did happen on my previous LCD monitor (which is what prompted me to buy this one, marketed as having 2ms response time). It is specifically the blinking and distortion that bother me - usually people talk about ghosting and blur in the context of response times, but I think I can live with a little blur.
My question is - what should I look for in a monitor if I want this to be significantly reduced? Are there any specific recommendations (preferably a 17" fullscreen, and my budget is flexible if a product is worth its price tag)? If this bothers me, should I go back to a good old CRT monitor?
Thanks.
