LCD DVI problem

I just got my Viewsonic VX2025wm and hooked it up with the supplied DVI cable. Well, I got a "no signal" message on the monitor. So I hooked up a VGA cable and it worked fine.

I then tried a different DVI cable with no luck, so I thought maybe my VC DVI port is bad (never used the DVI before). I then found the DVI-VGA adapter that came with my VC and connected the VGA cord thru the adapter and the monitor worked fine.

Does this mean that the DVI port on the LCD is bad, or is there something else I need to try? I really hate to have to RMA this thing, but I don't see how it can be anything else.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the link.

I guess I'll be calling Viewsonic for an RMA. 🙁

I noticed you dropped the vx2025wm from you recommended lists in the LCD sticky. Is this one of the reasons, or are their other problems, or are there just better choices IYO?
