Lays Lightly Salted = WOW!

Yes there are tons of great potato chip brands (utz, cape cod, kettle, herman, etc), and original Lay's is actually pretty bad.

I never liked plain Lay's because it has boring texture, mediocre potato taste, and so god damn salty that it makes my mouth hurt + tastes bitter.

I tried the same Lay's but their lightly salted kind. Holy crap, what a world of difference. You can actually taste the potato now.

Pretty darn good for a super mainstream brand... all they had to do is reduce salt.

Its about time companies addressed salt.
We get way too much salt in our diet. And reducing salt actually improves the taste.
Let's hope McDonald's takes the hint. Their fries are way too salty.
But then again, I don't do mcdonalds. I prefer real food.
I'd love to see reduced salt pretzels too.

The Lay's Simply Natural chips they make now are pretty damn good too, much better than the original style.

Can't quite recall if they were as salty as the original as it's been about two months since I had them.
