For those who didn't see it. The opening scene was a group of templars riding into a museum to steal some relics, the cops stand around pointing their guns and not firing at the guys on horses even though they are literally 3 ft away. So the chick who is a knockoff of Indy (only her dialogue is atrocious, she can't act, and Harrison Ford is a more attractive women than she is) jumps on a police horse and chases after the templars.
It only gets worse from there. The kicker, it was 2 hours long and there are 2 more hours tomorrow night! If you like watching train wrecks I would recommend it. NBC at 8pm central IIRC.
SOOOOOOO BAD.

They were just interviewing her on Mark and Brian. She won an Oscar for something.
Mia Sorvino.

The book was pretty book (assuming it's based on the book by the same name), but I'm guessing the miniseries will be horrible.
It's hard enough for a real big budget movie to be true to a good book, so I'm sure a miniseries attempt based on a good book will result in epic failure.

For some reason I found that hilarious.
My GF recorded it, I'm sure I'll have to sit through it at some point in the next few days. Sounds like I'll have to rip on her for it.![]()

The book was horrid. I watched some of the show last night out of morbid curiosity and it was pretty bland.
