I am not sure I am looking forward to it, but I feel committed to it.

Sort of like having an appointment for dental work.

Bah! I loved the show.
But I get what you mean -- I have dozens of shows like that. "Well I started this, so I'm going to see it through"

I saw 2 half episodes because I was working nights back then. Seemed okay, I might have to watch it. What's the premise for him being the last man on earth with that girl? Disease?

They never really state it. There are no bodies lying everywhere or anything, everyone is just gone. Like rapture or alien abduction.

I actually thought this show was quite funny but couldn't see it through because it was too excruciatingly painful, in a Meet the Parents kind of way. Poor guy kept getting screwed (or, more accurately, not screwed) at every turn ^_^ I should try to get back into it.

I actually found the character of Phil to be rather likable. Maybe I hold a pessimistic view on the human race, but I feel like in the post-apocalypse context when all people throw out their bullshit pretense and the facades that organized society demands of us, the spectrum of morality among people will range from Mad Max hooligans who rape, murder and steal at the worst, and guys like Phil at the best.

This show is very watchable/semi-funny, but the main character is such a dipshit asshole. He's supposed to be that way, but still.

I think I might skip season 2. It's such a pain in the ass to try and set the DVR because it's never actually on when it's supposed to be since 90% of the time it's late because of football on Fox. Gets quite annoying. I know. First world problems.

Set the dvr to record the show for longer or record the show right after it if you can.

Otherwise just watch it online and suffer. 😛

Just announced yesterday that it's been cancelled. Really bummed on this as I simply loved this show. Grew into one of my favorite comedies on the air right now. God willing Netflix or somebody smart picks it up as it has a pretty solid cult following and is critically acclaimed (if that means anything). Extra bummer is it ended on a huge cliff hanger.

In the immortal (and last!?) words of Tandy: "Oh farts"

My wife was watching this and I occasionally stay for awhile. I caught the end of the last episode and I asked her if the show was ending. It didn't make sense to me how they could introduce what they did and keep the idea of the show alive.

He hasn't been "the last man" since a couple of episodes into season 1
Damn it... I loved this show

Ya, but introducing a few characters is almost mandatory. Introducing hundreds changes everything.

Can't argue with that. But then again, I mean the story has to go somewhere, right? Are we just going to follow that small band of survivors until they die of old age? Though that would be fitting for the show...

So I guess we ill never find out who all the people are who came out of the ground and surrounded Tandy and crew in the orange grove.
😡😡😡😡
