1/2 hr till showtime.
I wonder if they will try to pick on Gary Gullman again.
He demolished the last 2 comics he faced.

Pablo Fransisco is funny as hell.. the first 10 times. Afterawihle, you'll really be hurting to hear something refreshing... though i like the guy, i'd like some new jokes too

NBC runs last comic standing II, enough said. While Jay Mohr isn't a total tool (ref Carson Daly) he kind of is at their whim. In reality NBC gets a lot of say with how the shoe is run, so the shoe will be run in such a way that not talent, but ratings will decide individuals longeitivity

If you live in the bay area (San Jose specifically) you can pick up a copy of Wave magazine, the one with Kiera on it (though it's not the best picture...) and find an article in there by Ralphie May, teh comic who got 2nd in the first last comic standing.

and john heffron.. the bit on the nerf ball was hillarious!!!

this may sound retarded, but anyone have a link to the website? the last comic standing2 website? i looked on comedy central.com and couldnt find it, then tried googling it, but no dice...

any help?

John Heffron
Garl goldman
Alonzo Boden

who should have moved on:

Katharine Maddagin(sp?)
The italian chic w/ the big boobies
Alonzo Boden

wtf? im searching everywhere, and cant find a link to the website... i googled it. i imdb'd it, i tried comedy central's site... anyone have any help here?

I disagree. The final 3 are definately the right ones.
All 3 are equally funny but my orsder would be:

Gary Gulman
John Heffron
Alonzo Boden

The only reason I put Alonzo 3rd is that his materials are mostly racial.

BTW, how in the world did Jay London win the wild card ??? He is sooo not funny.

Jay London had his moments, though he deffinately wasn't good enough to win. I hope Alonzo wins, he's the funniest of the three. The tall guy w/ the smile would be my #2.

If you paid closer attention....Alonzo makes too many racial jokes....its somewhat a turnoff.

I actually liked them. He's the Samuel Jackson look a-like, right? He may have used a lot of them, but they were dang funny. 🙂

I never said they were not funny. They are quite funny actually but you can be just as funny without the racial stuff.

Its just me actually. I don't particular care for black comics who just use racial stuff as their material.
You don't find too many white comics who use racial stuff for materials.

I don't think he goes overboard with racial stuff. That was one of the things that impresses me about him, as most other black comedians pretty concentrate only on racial stuff. I thought Corey centered more around black humor than Alonzo does.

I thought John was the right one to win......his joke about the wrapping paper tubes and using them as sword and then as numbchucks brought back so many memories...his jokes are relateable. Gary was the smart comic, who I also liked. Alonzo was good, but his joke telling seemed forced....not as natural as the other 2
