My dad used to name his computer after us kids.. all 6 of us.
I have 4 pcs at home currently and they all used to follow a standard naming system. I named them all after spices or seasoning.
For example, my domain controller when I had one was named "spicerack" Then I had salt, pepper, ginger, basil, oregano, etc..
I have since switched and the computer names are all members of SG-1 except for my main pc which is aptly named "Stargate". I guess if I get more PCs, I will name them after jaffa or something..
Do any of you name your computers, or are they generic names like after an asset tag or something from the factory?
