Aww man, I assumed this would be an MMA fight not a boxing fight. Conor is going to get his ass whooped but then again, for $100M I'd fight both of them at the same time so can't blame him for agreeing.

MMA boxing's nothing like actual boxing. The best MMA boxers would get lit up and destroyed by even a golden glove level boxer. One of the better MMA boxers vs one of the best technical boxers of all time? Yeah, this Connor is going to look stupid. The best boxers couldn't touch Floyd, not a chance in hell an MMA guy can do anything at all. Even as cocky as he is, he knows he can't win, this is the biggest payday of the Irish mans life, And that's why he's doing it. Go back and watch Floyd vs Canelo, or any of Floyd's fight. I won't be quoting your post on 8/26 because you're either trolling, or just clueless about boxing.

I laughed at the unbreakable mindset, I seem to remember 2 years ago he was getting outboxed by Nate Diaz and ended up giving up and pulling guard with a BJJ wiz so he wouldn't have to keep fighting. Don't care he won the rematch, the 1st fight, yeah. And even if he doesn't give up here. He got jabbed to death by Diaz, so how do you think he'll handle getting jabbed by one of the best ever?

While that is true it has no baring, why? Mayweather's has about a 5,000 times better jab and is way faster than Diaz. So that will more than make up for the lack of size. Connor couldn't keep from getting hit by Diaz. Floyd will jab him at will, and his jab's a lot harder. This fight shouldn't have even been sanctioned that's how big of a mismatch it is. Just goes to show you the power of money.

dealing with a taller/longer fighter is a very different puzzle than dealing with Mayweather, how he deals with one gives approximately zero clue as to how he will deal with the other

You know who's about Connor's size, if not a bit bigger? Canelo Alverez. And in terms of boxing, well I went to California public schools so I'm unable to calculate how much better of a boxer than Connor he is . I just know it's a big ass number. Canelo was unable to hit Floyd, one of the best boxers today who will probably go down top 50 of all time looked silly in there against Mayweather. Canelo's immeasurably better everywhere than Mac. Floyd had no puzzle to solve with Canelo, so yeah, Connor's size won't present any sort of puzzle for Mayweather. Could I be wrong here? absolutely not. This fight's a joke and is only happening because of the huge $$$$$$$ involved.

De La Hoya was also huge compared to Mayweather (and more so against Pac, but that is another story). McGregor may be amazing in MMA, but he won't stand a change against Floyd.

And who was the last guy that actually ran at Floyd and exposed himself to be knocked out? Guys talk like Floyd can't hit hard. He doesn't have to and guys are afraid to just bum rush him because they know it will come.

Over half of his 49 wins came via ko. His fighting style isn't him trying to knock people out. And to be fair to him many of his opponents in his last 15 bouts haven't been knocked out by anyone, or rarely. Canelo never been knocked out, same with Madeina. Cotto 2 times in 45 fights and 1 of them had illegally loaded their gloves with plaster to do it. Marquez 0 kos in 40 fights. Mosley 1 ko in 60 fights. DLH 2 times in 40 fights. Judah 3 times in 50 fights. He was the first person to ko Hatton. For a non brawler he actually had a lot of ko wins, and he always fights tough ass dudes.

Conor McGregor will put Floyd Mayweather to sleep inside the first round, says Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has backed Conor McGregor to end Floyd Mayweather inside 35 seconds in their super-fight on August 26.

The former unified heavyweight champion believes McGregor will knock Mayweather out inside the first round and hand a win to the ‘real’ people of the world.

McGregor has zero boxing experience, but is an accomplished striker in the UFC.

The Irishman has a famous left hook and Fury predicted Mayweather will meet the same fate as Jose Aldo did when McGregor knocked him out in their featherweight title fight.

‘I think McGregor will do him in one round,’ he told iFL TV.

‘I think he will knock him out inside the first 35 seconds like he did to Jose Aldo, to be honest.

‘It would be good for boxing if McGregor chinned him.

Right now you have to bet $600 to win $100 on Lameweather. Odds change as money gets bet, that's the job of odds makers, to spread the money evenly.

Which is why you should wait until closer to the fight when the morons putting their money on Conor make it a much better better bet.

I kind of agree with the people claiming McGregor is being a bit racist when calling Mayweather 'boy'. Lol, anything for a dollar, I suppose. Everyone is talking McGregor in the news now, despite him having zero experience and realistically no chance.
