ridiculous. I don't understand how the odds are so close either, it seems suspicious...even with braindead ufc fans better on mcgregor you'd think the sharps would be dumping cash on mayweather at -600

you see a wider spread on legit fights

the largest number of bets are coming in on McGregor but the largest amount of money is coming in on Mayweather . . . so exactly what you said

I read that a betting company release that like 70%+ of bets were on McGregor, but like 90% of the money was on Floyd.
And he wasn't very good at it, was he? And it's not like he was selling out minor league parks all over the south.
The Birmingham Barons sold out every home game with Jordan on the team, IIRC.

You don't need to see it. Just listen. You should be able to hear McGregor wheezing after about round 3, and then a lot of squishy noises and then a thud.

he made it through 5 longer rounds of more physically demanding MMA, i'm sure he has the cardio for 3 shorter rounds of boxing

I've been watching McGregor's rise since 2013, and I think he is going to win handily. Will be quoting this post on 8/26.

I think people see this Irish dude with dumb tattoos named McGregor and they think he's just a sloppy brawler with 1 trick. In reality, his striking is some of the most precise and technical in the UFC, he is athletically gifted, and has an unbreakable mindset - all backed up by a nearly perfect MMA record. On top of all that, he's in his prime.

That's great, but he's still not a boxer. Mayweather may not be in his prime, but for being 40 he's barely been touched. He knows how to win without getting hit hard probably better than anyone in the history of the sport. I bet if you added up the actual punishment these guys bodies have taken Mayweather is actually quite a bit less beat up.

McGregor is actually a boxer. He's boxed quite a bit. Just not at this level. Not anywhere close. This would be like George St. Pierre (who wrestled in his youth) in his prime wrestling one of the medalists in freestyle wrestling in Rio.

You guys are going to be in for a surprise when they face off and you see that McGregor is noticeably bigger - height, reach, hand size, head size, everything. I put $750 on McGregor when the odds were 700+. Will be collecting my $5000 shortly.

Yeah right. Might as well have just flushed it down the toilet. Hope you aren't counting on that 5k to pay off all your other stupid bets.
