My vote for "It was so lame it was funny"
The ending of the movie Staying Alive with John Travolta. At the end of the movie, his character, Tony has successfully performed his first professional dance production on Broadway. He is walking out of the back of the building when the love interest asks him what he's going to do now.
Tony: "I'm gonna strut."
He then proceeds to walk off in this goofy looking strut.

All of Michael Chrichton's movies.
It seems like he has so many good ideas for books but he gets bored of writing them near the end and makes a lame ending just to finish it.

No, his books have incredible endings. They ALWAYS have a twist and leave you feeling a bit uncomfortable. The movies, well Hollywood fvcks em up.
