I'm really not that in love with it. Looks like a space ship more than a car imo.

I like the idea of shedding weight in a sporting car.

I know that this has been a part of super car development over the years...but I think it will become the focus now as engines are just ridiculously powerful now. I think lightweight materials and better efficiency should be the new goals. Hopefully as they develop knew tech in these expensive vehicles, slowly improved processes will make it down to our "el cheapo" vehicles. I know a number of companies are already investing in carbon fiber processes to make it affordable for more pedestrian cars.

Alright Mazda - if Lambo can make a V10 @ 2300lbs, you can surely make the new Miata @ 2200 lbs.
Geez 2.5s to 60mph. Thank god someone in charge at Lamborghini is still a child inside. This is what Lambos should be - crazy.

"Those high exhaust temperatures will be exhaled by a V10 engine that's putting out a stonkin' 570 horsepower. With just 2,200 pounds of weight to move, the run to 60 will take less than 2.5 seconds."

Say what?

The exterior is stunning. The interior is stunning too, though that would be stunningly impractical and ugly looking.

I think it is logical. How much MORE power would a 3500 pound vehicle need to hit 0-60MPH in under 3s? After all, isn't performance the goal regardless of how it got there?

:D Had me laughing!
