Another espresso break, another chapter put to bed. I steel myself. Time to read the news, time to check out AT P&N. Yup, more name calling and more call outs. More partisanship and less intelligent debate. Ad hominem attacks, check.
You have some serious denial issues. You frequently call people "partisan hacks" and refer to Obama as an "empty suit". You adore Glenn Beck who called the president a racist who has a deep seeded hatred of white people and white culture. But you're the only rational voice in the wilderness. Christ help us.

I thought he was fucking nuts but this confirms it ;)

Another one line ad hominem attack from the master of the inane!

You just threw out an ad hominem yourself, Jackass.

See how easy it is?

Yet another brutish and naive poster without a sense of humor.

Calling out Fox news publicly as a very real purpose-driven shill for the GOP is not like having an internal document created and expanded for the purposes of destroying said enemies with the use of "tax audits from the IRS, and by manipulating ?grant availability, federal contracts, litigation, prosecution, etc".

Hyperbole on this only makes one look ridiculous.

Yep.

And yep.

I can't see how the OP takes himself seriously. In his first paragraph he complains of name-calling, call outs, partisanship, unintelligent debate, and ad homs... and then promptly engages in all of those.

There were several liberal fools on NPR today, people who despise Fox news, but suggesting that the Pres was making a grave mistake elevating them by dignifying their existence with criticism. When asked why the contempt for Fox, the person said they make you crazy if you go after them. They send goons out to do hit pieces on you that smear and malign you and anybody you associate with. This idiot, admitting his own fear, suggests everybody bow to such pressure. Fuck him.

I have a different opinion. 50 million people died in WW2 from Nazi propaganda. Fox News is Nazi propaganda. Fox News is a cancer that sucks money from sick minds. It is a disease whose motive is to destroy. It is a cell of psychotic individuals that intend to spread their mental illness to others. In the days of the cave man one would wake up one morning and find Fox News dead on the cave floor its skull crushed by a rock.

This disease operates because we have freedom, but there is no freedom without responsibility. Fox is not a responsible entity. Anyone interested in the preservation of freedom should work to hold Fox accountable. If we do not work to appeal to our better angels we will be eaten by monsters.

Hard ball players just love hard ball till somebody comes after them with a bat. It's long past time to go after Fox news. We already have too many Zombies wandering around looking for meat. Fox is a Zombie metastasizing machine and aggregating clique of idiots to create demented distractions to throw under the wheels of progress and evolution, to serve moneyed interests.

Moonbeam, not to rain on your parade, but have you ever actually watched Fox News?

I used to never stray away from the financial news stations like CNBC and Bloomberg, but, lately, I have found channel flipping to be quite enlightening.

For entertainment I switch really fast between MSNBC and FOX. If I am in the mood to watch pure desperation I have no better choice than MSNBC, but I am seldom in the mood for pity. On the other hand, if I want to learn something new I would probably make a point to catch Glen Beck - he is entertaining but, boy, he is one hell of a teacher as well. I have only watched two of his shows since hearing about him, but he is must see TV, even if it is just to find out what the opposition thinks.

Neil Cavuto on Fox is one of the most intelligent and thoughtful anchors on television, but he may be a bit dry if you are not into the finance end of things.

All I am saying is that sometimes it is a good thing to detox from whatever propaganda you are getting a fix on and check out the exact opposite of what you have been led to believe. It can lead to an epiphany.

I wouldn't trust anything Beck says. He operates on fear and distortion. Even some republicans say so, even though they wont go toe to toe with him.

Funny how Beck is probably the most popular republican in America right now.

I don't think Beck is a Republican, though he may be a republican.

I would be happy to share a bunker with both Dick and Liz Cheney! But, please, please, please, don't have Obama do those things that he is doing that would require us all to live in bunkers!

Seriously? Are we supposed to take that literally? You seriously believe that (A) he has an enemies list, and that (B) he intends to send those enemies to some equivalent of the Gulag?

Because if you do believe that crap you just spewed, I'm done even trying to discuss things with you. Frankly, I'm not sure why I even bother in the first place. You sound like a retarded version of Mark Levin half the time. Making up shit and thinking there are commies lurking around every corner. Get back on your meds. Now.

TV is filled with folk who know everything. I know nothing and I know I know nothing and I know therefore also, that TV can't teach me anything. I am a vacuum into with you can pour all human knowledge without effect. Because I know I know nothing I know that nobody else does either.

Oh my Beloved, wherever I look it appears to be Thou. In You I have ceased to be.
