There's a similar trend. Republicans have 31 women in Congress compared to 81 for Democrats, yielding 33% in the democratic party compared to 11% in the republican. If we go with the Democrat party being composed of 55% women and the Republican party being composed of 45% women, that would put democrats at about 60% representation compared to the ratio and the republicans being at about 25% representation compared to the ratio.

Gasp. I, for one, am shocked.

Just remember, white males are the real victims in America.

If you're going to ignore people and/or blatantly treat them like shit, aka abuse them, then don't be surprised if they turn to men like Trump.

White, Middle-Age Suicide In America Skyrockets

They are ignorant of the cause, and look for scapegoats, but Republican's Trickle Down policy has DESTROYED these people. Their wealth and power is fading before their eyes, they are needy and scared with bills rising faster than income. With the slightest incident or hiccup in their life resulting in joblessness and homelessness. Healthcare? A pipe dream.

They know not what they do, but you hate them for it. I get it, but hate is contagious. The receiver becomes the giver in a cycle of violence that never ends. They lose all defense and reason against a demagogue like Trump. They turn to the worst creatures to lead them, and risk our country being overrun by Trumpian fever. Before long you become the scapegoat and they lose all reason to madness. The worse their leaders become, the more detached from reality they are. The more civil discourse fails and violence replaces politics.

This isn't about pampering a privilege, this is whether you wish to drive them away and into the embrace of Nazis. And what it means for this nation if you are successful at that. Not embracing everyone's needs strips you of crucial support, sapping the strength of elections. You may not empathize with these people, but you had best make sure you're not also demonizing them. Hating people has consequences.

People continue to focus only on race and ignoring the number of women in the picture.

Republicans have failed to learn the benefits of diversity. They only pay it lip service when its absence makes them look bad. After the Anita Hill hearings Democrats took note of only men being on the Judiciary Committee and corrected. Republicans just ignored. Fast forward to Dr. Ford's testimony. Republicans knew the optics looked so bad they hired a woman just to do their questioning. When the person hired was unable to impugn Ford's testimony they fired her real time.

Yet people in this thread still don't get it.

No one, and I mean no one, is ignoring or treating white men like shit. The white men still control everything.

They are ignorant of the cause, and look for scapegoats, but Republican's Trickle Down policy has DESTROYED these people.

Notice how it is almost exclusively white men in control of the Republican party.

Yes, all this is true, and it is all happeneing because they voted for it, and continue to do so.

It is their own pampered privilege causing it. They are not being driven into the embrace of Nazis. They have been the Nazis all along. It is just that now that they are finally accomplishing the things they have spent decades working for they can no longer delay the cost of those policies.

They have reached the end of the road that they have been kicking those cans down and those cans have piled up into a mountain that is falling on their heads. Now that they can't keep putting off the bill they are pissed off that they have to pay it.

Try, try really hard to understand, we are not the ones hating. You are literally saying that the problem here is that people are not empathizing enough with the Nazis. Let that sink in.

That's a valid point, but the media at large has been taking notice.

Plus, what do you expect this place is overwhelmingly male (which is why we still get the "OMG women are gonna have us all thrown in jail because they decided they wish they hadn't had sex with us years later!" threads and posts).

Just heard on the news. This new batch brings the average age of the house down 10 years.
Thank god, finally people who were born when traffic lights became the normal road technology won’t be investigating Facebook or talk about tech so utterly stupidly.

But, will they know the real important things, like the difference between a clip and a magazine.
