Women all around the world should be alarmed.

Kylie is only 36.

Anastacia was diagnosed last year at 29.

I lost my Mom to Breast Cancer 4 years ago. (died on her 60th Birthday)

I lost my Ex sister-inlaw to it 5 years ago. (Diagnosed at 38)

Just lost my Grandmother to it 2 weeks ago.

We are from Long Island. Left in 1987. I did not know it has the highest rate in the Country.

Must be all the chemicals released in the ground back when Long Island used to produce a huge portion of the War Machinery for this Country.

Also made the Lunar Module as well.

which one was that?

her music is actually not bad

Think that is the one of her riding the mechanical bull in only her bra and panties.

no $$$ immediately, but the women (and a few men) that can be saved!!! these lives might be of the next pop star, porn star, president (uh oh should i put my flame suit on?), or family member! you cant talk money when you talk about the lives of so many people :(

big old pharmaceuticals = evil

billions wasted on viagra, yet no cure for breast cancer. for shame!

The real shame is how little money is invested in research for prostrate cancer.

A man can reproduce till the die he dies, a woman and her breasts are basically useless and pretty ugly once menopause hits since the incidence of breast CA goes highest at/after menopause.. which disease would we be better off finding a cure for ? I'd say it's prostrate cancer.

they(the big pharmceutical companies) probably already have a cure on their shelves, just want others to suffer so they can make tons of $$$ on treatments that just keep people alive. with all the technology we have today with distributed computing and science, it is obvious they learned their lesson when they cured polio.

I don't think so, I do think they're hot on the trail of a key to what turns on cancerous cells and what can turn them off and investing more dollars and research efforts into that.. let us hope they find it before we or a loved one needs it.

As for Kylie, she's relatively young, otherwise healthy and has the good fortune to be able to afford top notch care including reconstructive surgery, hopefully she'll do well.

i hope you are correct and i am wrong, but it seems weird we haven't cured much if anything in a long time but all other kinds of things have been invented everyday that make $$$.

Breast cancers that strike at a younger age are usually more aggressive -- I hope she recovers :(
