it just came on XM radio, squizz... first i've heard it.

wtf... very odd.


anyone else heard this??? the original is probably my favorite metallica song of all time.

They did an entire album, covering different songs I believe. Their version of Pink Floy'd the Wall is awesome IMO.

And although Modeps has a point, I think it was after "Life is Peachy" that they started sucking. However, they're latest album has made me a fan again. Not sure when this cover album comes out, it might be out now - but I'm going to grab it.

I really loved their first CD... it was so raw and unpolished that it was awesome. Life is Peachy was decent, then Follow the Leader turned them into an overproduced superband that falls back upon guest artists. It had it's merits but then everything else after that was... mehtastic.

If you're a fan of rock, I can't quite understand how you can't like the song One by Metallica. :confused: it... boggles my mind. How can any self-respecting rock fan NOT like that song or other early Metallica works? They're friggin pioneers in the rock genre!

I saw them live in concert 2 1/2 years ago and in the middle of a song they broke in to "One" and started going crazy.. The entire crowd started a huge mosh pit, it was great

all music is a rehash of those that came before them. metallica did nothing new, just as korn did not.

Metallica, even with their crusade against digital music and their "we RULE!" attitude, is still a great rock band... Sure they had some bumps in the road, but it's mostly quality.
