I was watching RealTV before...is this true?

Koreans eat LIVE baby octupus....they stick chopsticks in...then wrap the tenticles around, stick it in some sauce...and suck it off the chopstick?

I mean...I've seen some pretty gross stuff that people over the world eat...but LIVE octopus??? EEK!!
 
remember Karma.......... if any Koreans are around New Zealand they will get eaten live by the Giant & Collossal Squids 😀

Sure, then they chase a dog around a room with kitche knives and tear chunks off it and pop them in for dessert.
 
im korean. i don't think it's that gross. probably one of those gourmet food.

i remember as a kid, my dad caught a squid and he chopped it up @ home.. no calamari sushi can be fresher than that... the cut off legs were still squirming.. and freshness and its luxury is determined by the active movement.
 
Yeah, this is true. On the Food network this one guy tried it for the first time, he literally had to peel the tentacles off his lips to swallow it... and once he did, he said he still felt it was alive in his stomach. And yes, i wouldn't mind trying it. It's not like it's going to kill you.

raw sea octopus is NOTHING compared to some of the more disgusting food some people eat... at least it's sanitary and clean (from the sea & fresh)

I'd rather eat that than a slow roasted bull testicle, live maggots, etc.. *Shudder*

 
lol...I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I don't care, I'd try it. I want to try good blowfish too. Live on the wild side. 😉
 
Bah, some of you guys are wuss. Frogs? There's nothing daring in that. I just don't it because it's mostly bones, but i've eaten it a half dozen times or so.

I read about a man in Japan who died while eating live octopus. He was trying to swallow it but the octopus refused to go down, and instead was trying to climb back up his esophagus. The man choked to death. This happened earlier this year.
