Could someone who received the $40 coupon for the B&M Staples please point me to it (or email/PM it to me)?

Thanks.

Get an AMEX Blue card and use it to buy the camera. If the price goes down within 60 days, AMEX will refund you the difference.

Staples don't carry DC4800's where do you get price matching Staples???

Office Depot has DC4800's and they price match as long as the store you are price matching to has an online website and a local store they are working out from...

They also give free next day shipping..
They dont charge shipping like Staples does..

Office Depot may be a possiblity. Do you do it over the phone or does it have to be at a B&M?

HNJ: I didn't think those two sites that were just listed were B&M.

They sure r. Start from first page and do a search in this thread for important.

From CTK9090 post

<< couldn't take it anymore... printed out both the Abe's and the BeachCamera DC4800 pricing pages AND **IMPORTANT** the info from their respective 'About Us' pages that clearly show an image of a B&M storefront! *Hid the Beach Camera info in my pocket to be used only as a last resort >>

i was thinking of getting in on this deal and PM staples.com with the places selling it around 460, but staples.com doesn't list the kodak camera in stock. are people pm with staples even though its currently not listed on their webpage?

Hawkeye: Are you just sending out the code or do we actually have to receive and print out an original e-mail? Also, will they pricematch stores that aren't in the same state. I live in Michigan and I could see there being some problems with them allowing me to pricematch something that is in Maine without tacking on shipping charges.

pm turned on. besides the b&m deal whats the cheapest you can get it online for? since i dont have a car here at school i'd probably have to get someone to at home to buy one at a b&m location since i dont want to pay ny sales tax. are those other stores like camera sound decent or are most of those selling it online for 460 pretty shady.

Just calculated this in case some of you are forgetting about sales tax. If I were to PM at Staples at 460 and use 40 off that would bring me to 420. Then add in sales tax, for me 6%, which comes to 445.20 - 100 rebate = 345.20, which is still pretty good.

my two cents -

just got back from staples - I live in southern CA, and my staples wouldn't price match Abe's of Maine because they were so far away (they are not a competitor wtih a big enough threat on an CA staples). Also, you can stop asking people to PM you the staples coupon email because the online codes work at the B&M stores. If you dont' know where to look, go to techbargains.

ok, now its time to find a good price for everyone else that doesn't live in New England

Mears,

<<...or do we actually have to receive and print out an original e-mail>>

Once it's printed out, it could be pretty tough to distinguish an email from a text doc that has email-looking header info at the top, no??

Scheck,

<<are those other stores like camera sound decent or are most of those selling it online for 460 pretty shady>>

Not sure about these 2, but there are definitely some to avoid like the plague -- If they start sounding very reluctant to sell you a camera w/out an expensive add-on pkg and really give you hard sell - run, don't walk, for the virtual exit .... check gomez.com, resellerratings.com, and bizrate.com b4 ordering from anyone online.

<<besides the b&m deal whats the cheapest you can get it online for? >>

Some of the earliest posts in this now enormous thread recommended using photoalley.com. Pricing is close to list, but they frequently have good discounting. Currently they have $50 off 500, or $100 off $750. They're likely to have another 10% or $100 off $600, before the end of the Kodak $100 rebate, so you ought to be able to score ~$400 deal with a little patience.

G'Luck!
