Kobe vs. Shaq

I hope the Lakers win, but I think that if Kobe scores 40 points, the lakers are gonna lose. I'm hoping Kobe has 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10assists and the Lakers win 🙂
 
What a statement it'll be if Kobe drives the lane and throws one down on Shaq's grill. Doubt that will happen though, Shaq would just as soon throw Kobe to the ground then let that happen, but still, I can always hope.
 
i'm a lakers fan, and I hate this confrontation. i hate everything the lakers management has done to my favorite team. the management fvcked up and tainted the three great championship runs the lakers had for fueling the breakup. it seemed as if the management did nothing to talk to kobe and shaq.

sigh.

well, that said, i hope lakers win, since i'm laker's loyal fan (always was, always will be), but i know the lakers will lose. miami's on a great run right now. they have decent chemistry at the moment that's only going to get better. shaq is almost unstoppable on any given night, and against kobe, he WILL BE unstoppable. dwane wade will be on national TV. he'll want to show his stuff as well. He has what..a 50% field goal percentage? i expect him to be ready and probably be on fire


what i wish what kobe and shaq do is just shut up and play like sportsmen. NBA put this game on xmas on purpose.

this whole thing is BS. I hate it. NBA's getting worse and worse. Someone should shoot Stern
 
Is anyone else out there fed up with this whole "feud"?

I mean I might care more if either one was on my fantasy team, but even if they were, I'm tired of hearing it night after night on sportscenter, nba fastbreak, pti, etc. etc. I just hope after this game they'll just shut up about kobe and shaq.
 
Mihm will get a flagrant on Shaq & bruise Big Daddy's toe in the process; taking him out of the game. With Shaq gone, Odom will steal the spotlight by scoring 30, making the winning basket, & not high-fiving Kobe at the end.
 
What time of the day does this fiasco start? I never watch bb but I wanna see this!

I am really afraid Kobe is gonna get hurt.

I grew up in L.A., but haven't lived there since 1970. I am NOT a Laker's fan. I'm not a Shaq or Kobe fan, either. In fact, Kobe bugs me quite a bit. I didn't want to see him convicted, I'm not that kind of guy. Just because I don't like a person doesn't mean I want him put away. But his personality bothers me. As a person, I don't like him. Shaq I'm not crazy about either, but he doesn't bother me as much as Kobe. Neither are my hero. I'm going to watch this game, but I don't have any emotional feelings about it. I'll just try to be impartial and dig what's going on.

You know, I don't think the poll makes much sense. These two guys play a much different game. Just compare their bodies. It's ridiculous. You are comparing apples and oranges. And it's NOT "Kobe vs. Shaq." It's the Heat vs. the Lakers.

I only heard about it first yesterday, an article in my local paper. I'll watch the damn game because it's the very first NBA game I've been able to see this year. I get OTA TV in the S.F. Bay Area, and this is the first game broadcast. Feud? Stupid, period. These guys are making millions of bucks per year because people are buying that hype, talking about the players here. The media jerks who are hyping it are also making big bucks, just not THAT big. The hype is B.S. pure and simple. If you are going to watch the game, try to see through the hype. Good luck! :laugh:
