Of course but it's only the rear windows tinted which in most states is legal. Never are the front windows tinted in any consumer car.

My 2003 maxima that I bought brand new rolled off the dealership lot with a 5% smoke tint all around. They didn't put it on either or had it put on.
It was a titanium edition.

There's no evidence if they can't prove a crime right? Even if the police show up at your house with a warrant for a dead body and they found cocaine all over the place, that can't be used as evidence. How can one's opinion of the darkness of windows be justification for a random search?

Weigh your priorities, are you concerned about the tint or the drugs? My guess is if you have drugs that can be detected by an officer sticking his head in the window you'd be more concerned about the drugs than the tint.

You need to stop fantasizing, I'm sure if a cop pulled you over he'd not be suspicious enough to think you'd had drugs.... typical atot role playing/dreaming.

Not true. Front windows have to allow 70% of light in.

That saying, I have 20% on my front two windows, 5% (limos) on my back windows, and Im planning to get a 50% on my windshield when I get some money.

privacy glass and tint are different. privacy glass gives no UV protection.

i love seeing people buy darker than legal tint at my friends shop. he charges a surcharge and doesnt give a detailed receipt. occasionally we will see the same people back in to get it done legal due to a ticket.

i have darker than legal on the front windows and limo on the back. so far so good, the theory im going with is that the backs are clearly darker than the front so i must have gotten legal on front. for the most part, i have my winders down anyway.

Ugh. The windshield on the civic is huge and its the only spot where all the heat comes in. They have this 80% film that is supposed to be great at blocking the heat but its also twice the price..

Scenario 2: You park your car at the end of the street just close enough so that no part or your car is in the painted crosswalk. You leave your car there for a week and then they give you a ticket the 8th day. WTF? This is a meter maid patrolled area. Contest?

There are regulations on how far before or after a crosswalk or how close to a crossing you can park for it to be legal.

Dark tint, yeah, cause you can't get proper tint that lightens up during the night but you wanted to be gangsta and have it on windows where you can hardly see through it at night...

Punishment: execution.

IMO dark tints make your car look so much better.

Spray painted windows look even better, you can't drive the car but it looks good.

You don't have a fucking clue what a good looking car looks like, a Porche GT3 RS looks good, a Ferrari 458 looks good, but your fucking honda or nissan will look like shit no matter how much you tint your windows not to see how shitty it looks.

There is no amount of styling that will make your car equal that and it just looks fucking stupid to have oversized sheit on a car that you drive to and from the supermarket...

NO ONE CARES about your car.

FYI, even with mirrors adjusted properly you still need to look behind you. Mirrors have these things called blind-spots.

My mom's car's windows are tinted darkly. She was pulled over for it once, told it was a ticketable offense, and had to produce the aftermarket receipt indicating percentage tinting as well as a prescription from a dermatologist to avoid having to pay the ticket. I'm not a legal scholar, but I don't think warrants are ever required to simply issue a ticket, and then the onus is on you to contest it.

Of course you should contest the second scenario if it's worth the time and effort.

umm you don't need dark tint because of dermatological conditions. They make crystalbrite tint that's better than most super dark tints and totally legal.

You don't need a warrant if you are witness to a crime. If a cop saw a cannibus plant in plan sight they have enough to act on that. Likewise with dark tint, they can act on that.

Warrants are to prevent them from shaking you down and finding crimes they wouldn't have known about otherwise.

It's is absolutely impossible to see out of 5% 'tints' unless things are lighted or it's daylight.

It's funny as fuck to see super tinted cars with rear damage...the unfunny part is they probably collided with another vehicle rather than a stationary object.

That huge blind area behind the vehicle is why big trucks have backup warnings. That beeping is to warn you that the driver can't see you, and that you need to get out of the way. Of course a car doesn't have this so you might end up pwning some kid.
