the good thing about this movie...

people die... can't "save the world" in this one.. or stop the disaster at the last minute

So the Caleb and Abby are supposed to be the new Adam and Eve and that place they were dropped off at was supposed to be the new Garden of Eden?

The movie was ruined long before the ending by that annoying panicky overeacting (or overacting) woman character. I was so glad when she died.

I liked it. Plane crash scene was awesome, not convoluted/subplot-ridden like most similar movies. It took a basic idea, ran with it and the ending really was unexpected. I thought it was decent 6/10 entertainment. Wouldn't really recommend it to anyone but worth watching if on TV.

spoiler incoming-----

Did you notice all the other space ships at the end of the movie? They were also carrying kids.

so aliens like 'em young?

SPOILER................

I thought it was ok, and it was progressing semi-decently, until I come to the realization "this movie has written itself into a corner. Basically you need aliens and the world exploding."

Well what do you know... that killed it when I guessed the end. 🙁

I liked the plane crash scene and LOVED the way the world ended. I always imagined it would be a "solar killshot" that would bring an end to life on Earth.

Maybe I'm alone, but I actually liked the ending. Loved how they merged the the christian theory of Adam & Eve with the theory alien intervention. (Aliens looked like angels and the children ran towards the "tree of life")

i thought this movie was gonna be something very different from what i saw from the ad.

the only redeeming quality = the special effects were amazing... absolutely perfect, especially the ending.

I don't totally hate the ending, but I don't really care for it either. The rest of the movie was pretty good though.
