Knee surgery issues

Back in October I had surgery on my left knee to remove some excess cartilage and growth and I thought all was fine. However, this past week my knee has started to swell and I have suffered a lot of pain. I have scheduled an additional appointment with my surgeon, but was curious if anyone had experienced the same and what actions they took to rid the pain.

I've noticed reduced inflammation with fish oil supplementation. Is the pain and edema constant, or does it result from activity and flexion/extension and subside during rest?

does this have anything to do with your meniscus? a friend is going through a very similar situation and well if it does then ill let you know what he has done so far

maybe the ortho just wanted to see you again. jk...hopefully
