The thing is without the refs the Hawks very well could have still won. They would have made it very tough on SF.

But we will never know. The refs ruined this game and this season. Goodell can DIAF for all I care.

While the refs sure didn't help, SF could of had quite a few more shots to win at the end. Terrible coaching/idea with 2 time outs left, they didn't even try and manage the clock.

I'm fine with playing hurry up so that SEA can't make any defensive substitutions. The probme was Kaepernick locking onto one receiver, just like in the SB and making an awful read

A few years ago they would have played that once, saw the horrible injury and never play it again. Not now. Now its "lets play it 182 times for the shock value. Can we get a nipple in the shot? Is there any chance of a ball sack popping out?"

The reason they showed it so much was because of the blatant missed call on the turnover. I can't ever recall a gruesome injury being shown more than 2 or 3 times. This one just came at a very bad time to ignore that exact moment of the play.
