Poor zenny has had that thrown in his face enough. Then ownage of the year comes up and it's in the spotlight again.

True, but let me repeat what I had to write on a chalkboard as a schoolchild as a boy, "I am the master of my unspoken words but a slave to those that should have remain unsaid"...

KC over SF in the Super Bowl, now that's a movie script just waiting to be made.

ICF, you'll see what ”roll hard” means comes this Saturday. ;)

Lol, KC won't make it to the SB. Sure, they very well might beat the Colts, but they aren't beating Denver, New England, or Cincy unless Manning, Brady, and Dalton are having lunch together the day before the game and a meteor hits the restaurant.

My SB pick:

NE vs Seattle

LOL! Sort of what I was thinking.

Cinci just looks kinda tough this year....very physical. Darned near as good as the team that was poised to go to the SB until Palmer was taken out with the shot to his knee.

But I think your SB picks are really close to what'll be reality in a few weeks. Maybe. One can never tell....who'd have penciled in the Ravens last year?

The Colts rolled KC hard a couple of weeks ago, so let's see how the Chiefs respond. I think the Chiefs are overrated personally.

The only team they beat with a winning record was Philly, and that was early on when Vick was QB and they were a mess. They took advantage of an easy schedule and then backed into the playoffs with a 2-5 record after their bye week.

Exactly, and contrary to the assertions in this thread, the Colts won easily *in* KC a couple of weeks ago.

As far as the Colts are concerned, unlike last year, the Colts aren't the weakest team in the playoffs this year. If they play like they did the first few weeks of the season, they could win the Super Bowl. However, I don't think that's likely and think they might win one playoff game and then lose in the next round.

Here are the early lines. I'd be willing to take NO and the points plus the under.

KC +2.5 @ IND 46.5
NO +2.5 @ PHI 54.4
SD +7 @ CIN 46.5
SF -3 @ GB 48

on the radio experts where saying how 49ers are the scariest team right now. i dont fully believe the hype (i'm a 49ers fan). they looked terrible 2nd half of the arizona game. your thoughts on SF?

I know, and one of these days they'll get it. May that day be Feb 2nd of this year.

KC didn't beat a single quality opponent this year. Not one. The best they beat was the Eagles and even that was with Vick, not Foles.

That's good, because the entire Chiefs roster and staff will have plenty of time to read that script while sitting in the comfort of their homes watching other teams play in the Super Bowl.

Kaepernick still doesn't have the confidence he needs. They abandon the run too quickly and their secondary, though better than last year, still gives up big plays, especially on 3rd down. Reid is doing great for a rookie and Culliver was a great loss but (W)hitner needs to go back to fundamentals and go for the sure tackle instead of the big hits. Kaep lit up the GB secondary in the season opener without Crabtree, so I think with everyone healthy they are going to be too much for GB to stop. I think the only way GB wins is if SF turns the ball over too many times.

IMHO, SF will likely beat GB handily, and get destroyed by CAR in the divisional round.

Rooting for the Panthers to win the Superbowl! But I do believe the MVP for the SB will be Peyton Manning...

Well keep in mind AZ and SEA have what two of the top run defenses in the league. But I am not sold on how high others are on the 49ers, they have a win streak going, ok great... I'd feel a LOT better if we could be more consistent at sustaining drives and not giving up so many pass yards. I'm honestly not too worried about GB because they don't have a great D. I think we'll stop them more often than they stop us.

They can certainly beat anyone out there if they bring their A game. But I'm with you, they tend to come out flat at times this year, unlike last season.

I think Cinci is the scariest team at the moment.
I think Green Bay is going to be the hardest to beat.
I HOPE KC gets their shit together.
I really want to see Carolina in the Superbowl.

I can't wait for this year's playoffs!

green bay easily going down week one. They needed 3 fourth down conversions on the final drive against the defense that ranks just above the cowgirls to win it.

And they were on the road with Rodgers just back for the first time since injuring himself. I give them a 50/50 chance.

Wow, coming from you.

But you're right, KC is beyond over-rated. Their defense is average and shut-down Jamal Charles, they have no offense.

it's hilarious how many football fanatics speak their predictions as facts.

Especially this season!

My main gripe is and has always been when people say "they barely beat that other team". So what? Its the win-loss record that matters, not how you did it.

I will be rooting hard for the Chiefs and the Bengals. Put some pre-season money on them to win the Super Bowl and would get a nice little payout if it happens. :awe:

Aside from them I will be rooting for the Patriots and Seahawks to get to the big game.

It looked like they took the second half off. Play calling wasn't as creative as it was in the first quarter. Need to shore of that pass defense though..

Don't see it. CAR squeaked by 1 point earlier in the year due to a blown coverage/missed tackle. It'll be a close game.

I'm sorry AMDZen, will you forgive me? It's the least you could do since you have my favorite QB.

Its all good, I was mostly messing around too. The "aka ass" and everything was all in good fun.

But my point was that I had faith in your team against the chiefs and I do again this weekend. I would rather face Indy to be honest of the 3 teams we can get this weekend so hopefully the Bengals take care of business.

It's good that this time not everyone is picking the Broncos to win it all. It's never the favorite and last year made that clear as they were the clear favorite.

Go Manning!
