that is a pretty crazy statistic lol. i liked this gem from that article too.

Before the schedule was released, Weddle said that he thought San Diego was the NFL's top team, "I feel like we're the best team in the league," Weddle said. "We're not here to win the AFC West here and there. We want to win a Super Bowl."

well, the first half has been accomplished, they didn't win the AFC west!

I wonder if at any point in Chase Daniel's career with the Chiefs if he will take over the starting job. I'm not saying he is better than Alex Smith but I think he proved yesterday that he has potential to be a starter.

I don't know, that pass that keeps getting shown on ESPN was just so awkward looking and bad. :p His scramble and throw over the line of scrimmage. Sorry, no link or gif!

Amazing that the Chargers got in the playoffs. IIRC, they had to have 6 scenarios go correctly for them to get in, and each one went the way they needed.

The Colts rolled KC hard a couple of weeks ago, so let's see how the Chiefs respond. I think the Chiefs are overrated personally.

They didn't roll them hard, but they did win. I called that win too and you said you didn't think it would happen. :p

I like all the favorites this weekend except Philly

Nah, they rolled them hard. It was not as close as the score indicated.

You also predicted a Denver SB win last year if I remember correctly....

So I back you up on your Colts and you, in kind, call me out on my team? OK ex-friend, aka ass.

Besides I never said they would win the Super bowl, I said they could several times throughout the year and thought they should going into the playoffs. What I called flat out was a win against Baltimore which I was wrong on. But yea, you're going to actually say you thought they wouldn't win that game? Yea, f you again because I know thats a lie

I've already said Seattle Seahawks will win it all ;). Time for me to take out my old Rick Mirer shirt.

KC over SF in the Super Bowl, now that's a movie script just waiting to be made.

ICF, you'll see what ”roll hard” means comes this Saturday. ;)

That game, meh, but I doubt either team will survive to get to the SB. It's supposed to be cold in Philly.....NO/Brees doesn't do too well in the elements.

And I'd almost be willing to bet the Chargers are going to get clobbered by Cinci....much more physical team and SD's going to going east to play. And the weather's a factor in that game, too. Heck, yesterday SD just barely beat a KC team that was mostly fielding subs. And won it on a missed field goal that SD should've been penalized on and given KC another kick.

It was a pretty close game when they met a month ago, although that was in San Diego. The Chargers have a habit of losing to crappy teams but winning against good opponents this season. Three of their loses were against Houston, Oakland, and Washington. However, they also beat KC on the road when they were 9-1, Indy, and Denver on the road. They lost to Cinci once this season but it was a fairly close game. I expect them to be competitive and grind out an ugly win. If they do make it past this weekend, then it's at Denver, which they showed they have the ability to win at. They've beaten two of the other 3 playoff teams this year so while it will take a lot of luck, they are a dark horse right now in the playoffs.

The Hollywood script would be KC vs Philly in the big one. The disgruntled coach in the Super Bowl vs the team that fired him.

The better script would be the QB through perseverance bested the team that discarded him mid season for "hot hands" in a match of destiny on the world's biggest stage - the Super Bowl. Thus, also offer a sort of redemption for the fired and disgruntled coach.

That's the script the Chiefs have been hoping for since they got Joe Montana, Steve Bono, Elvis Grbac (how do you pronounce Grbac?), and Alex Smith. Incidentally, all ex-49ers.

I know, and one of these days they'll get it. May that day be Feb 2nd of this year.
