You hear it all the time that the top teams have the top QBs.
The Bengals game was a perfect example.
The Bengals would have easily won that game if they had Manning, Breeze, Brady, Rogers at the helm.
Way too many mistakes by Dalton. (interceptions, bad throws, panics in pocket, etc)

I still think he's a good QB. Maybe he just needs more time.
I would love to see Marvin Lewis fired though... time for a change.

I'm so glad I'm not a Bengals fan. I don't know if I could stand being that angry basically all the time. Because watching them is utterly infuriating.

Exactly, I would be so pissed if I were a Bengals fan. They were gift wrapped that division and proceed to get waxed by the Chargers at home. They have had way too many years of being one and done in the playoffs.

That one fumble by Dalton was HORRENDOUS. I would keep Lewis around for at least another year but I don't think Dalton will be the franchise QB for them.

I meant that in addition to the 2 fumbles & interception, SD defense played good and held CIN back for the entire 2nd half, putting even more pressure on Dalton

This is why the Chargers are doing better this year. When Rivers doesn't have to completely carry the team, he isn't forced to making stupid plays, like what Dalton was doing today in the second half. SD's defense was almost perfect in the second half and forced Dalton to make bad choices. Rivers wasn't really all that great today, but he didn't half to be.

In the majority of Chargers games I have watched this season their offense reminds me of an old pickup truck. It will get you down the highway on a rough & tumble ride but tends to stall out right next to your destination

Guy is an idiot, was calling for a horse collar. Before that calls a TO before even 1 play is run, unreal. To top it off, the guy isn't even wearing long sleeves which means his throwing arm is going to be stiff as fuck, and it shows on his passes. May as well be throwing with ice on your arm.

BTW, on the Packers last drive, the defender is batting the receivers hands before the ball gets there. How is that not pass interference? Sometimes you see a light touch gets called, then you see something that should be blatant and it's not called.

not just the hand contact but the DB bumped him a split second before that. But like the announcers said, these refs are letting them play.

That was a man's run by Lacy to gain 1st down. I'm surprised how committed to the run McCarthy is today.
