Sssnail notwithstanding, Smith actually had a great game. That final pass was on the money, too, in about the only spot it could be thrown. Too bad about Bowe's right foot. :\

Not to be forgotten and true, but everyone was overshadowed by Andrew Luck. I haven't seen him that often. He, uhhhh, impressed.

When your players were already injured, the game plan is different than when your starters are injured in the game.

You know, I don't care that I'm a laughing stock who's rooting for a standup guy, great all around human being, and a pretty good QB.

You're the kind of douche that kicks and boos your team when they're losing by halftime, as evident in this thread. You wouldn't understand the admiration of a fan, because you obviously don't have it.

Dude... You lost. It's OK. Every team out their loses. I bet Smith is handling the loss better than you are.

Man up...admit defeat and cheer for the Raiders

Well, having just moved from L.A. a couple months ago to an hour south of Indianapolis, giving me good reason to adopt my local team. Amazing game.

Heh, I'm all the way up in South Bend but still think I'll adopt Indy... Unless they're playing Denver =P

Better than adopting Chicago that's for sure

Well, except for those 3 picks anyway.

It's how he came back from those mistakes and being down 28 points that impressed the hell out of me. Total confidence.

I'm OK with the loss, it's just the way they lost that bothered me. It sucks when one team all of a sudden started to get injured and lose pretty much most of their weapons on Defense and Offense.

I knew that things weren't going right when Avery got hit in his helmet and no calls were made.

Had they came out, played and lost, that just meant that the better team won. In this case, it wasn't.

I gotcha.. But don't take away from Indy. They went from playing flat to playing their balls off. Sure injuries played a part but this was the season of injuries.

I get the let down. ...I really do. It sucks being so hyped then having your team kick you in the boys. I swear it's worse for us fans than the players

You've got the #2 and #4 offenses in the league...of course this will be a defensive battle.

=( Looks like I missed an amazing game. Did Charles go out in the first quarter? I thought I saw that happen, but it was literally in passing. I agreed to help my GFs brother move and of course, he wasn't ready...

This game was pure insanity. The fumble recovery for a TD by Luck was something I've never seen. Oh hey here's a ball oh what TD!!!

I do feel bad for the Cheifs as they had their star RB out so early and a few other players.

That was a wierd TD. Hand the ball off, ball gets knocked loose and doiks off a lineman's helmet and right back to Luck who rushes in for the TD. Does that count as a rushing TD for Luck?

LOL, the boo-birds are out for the Saints. I guess Eagles fans think every injury is a fake.

Does anyone else despise the NFL country theme song? "Waiting all day for a Wild Card fight." How many iterations of this crappy song must we endure.
