Kissing w/ tongue , but what if...

Hey guys, just wanted to get a quick question in. I'd answer this myself but alas I havn't been able to have the oppurtunity yet. Anyway what I wanted to inquire about is this. Has anyone, or does anyone have any experience with french kissing if you are "tongue tied".

That is there is a small piece of flesh from the bottom of your tongue attached to the bottom of your mouth, thus not allowing you too much tongue action, if you know what I mean. Is this a problem? As you can probally tell I'm quite the newb when it comes to these types of things 😉

And has anyone who was "tongue tied" gotten it cut, I was at the doctors once when I was a kid and he said he could snip it but that didn't ( and still doesn't ) sound to appealing...

i had a dentist offer to cut mine once, way back a long time ago
it sounded like a bad idea at the time, but now i wish i had let em do it
 
Get it snipped. My brother did when he was a child. I have a feeling it will make your experiences with kissing a lot more enjoyable and less stressful.
 
Heh, Okay so you think there will be problems when it comes to frenching? Most replies seem to be giving me that impression, but GtProjectX is giving me hope 🙂
 
You should be able to KISS okay, but you never know, you might be the next Gene Simmons if you'd get that tongue snipped!!

 
dude, find a nice girl, date her, kiss her and stop worrying. If it's EVER a problem I'm sure she will mention it (not in a bad way).

I've never had trouble frenching...
 
My bro had it (surgery) done when he was 12. It's not a huge deal. It affected him much less than having my wisdom teeth removed affected me. He had a little bit of a speech problem that was corrected by the surgery so I think he was looking forward to having it done.

Hey I was wondering just how bad is the little piece of flesh? How much does it restrict movement? Seems to me like I've got that little flap, but it doesn't seem to restrict movement.. I can touch the tip of my tongue to the little dangling thing in the back of my mouth.

If you're talking about the frenulum, I think everyone has that. I have one attaching my tongue to the bottom of my mouth and it doesn't cause any problems when kissing or snacking on the ol' love taco. 😉
 
It's called a frenulum, & you can get it clipped.

I will probably have mine clipped eventually, it is rather annoying at times.

i'm tongue tied. never really thought about getting it fixed. Apparently it was an issue when I was young, but it worked itself out. I can go 3/4 of the way to the bottom of my chin (not sure about inches straight out) so it hasn't inhibited effusive frenchin' or other fun.
