Just another troll stirring the shyt.
The military have far more volunteers than they need. Over the last 10 years or so they have raised their admittance standards to keep the slackards out.
There is hardly any need for a "draft" at this time.
Twisting this thread a little bit to one side, though, I have always believed that one of the biggest mistakes we, the U.S., ever made was to get rid of the draft. Mandatory service to your country for 2 years is a small price to pay for the freedom and opportunity you have. Even during wars, WWI, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam (I won't mention "The Gulf War" because it wasn't a war or even a fair matchup) relatively few soldiers were wounded or killed. Yes, yes, I know, you don't want to be the one who gets a bullet in the ass or a fragment from an artillery shell in the head. Those are just the chances you take by being alive. The odds of you being killed in a car accident are probably greater than the chance that you would be wounded/killed in a major military conflict.
Come on all you guys and gals, let's show the world that we have the intestinal fortitude to do whatever it takes to promote peace and prosperity for all.
