Just got the flyer right now. From 7/10-7/16.
Gonna pick up one dimm tomorrow for my Athlon XP3000 w/ 768mb ram.
1 gb+ is sweet. 😉
 
I bought these same ones about 2 weeks ago...if I go into CC and straight up tell them I would like a return/rebuy, would they do it? And I would have to bring in the original box in order to do this, right?

I bought one of these sticks last a couple of weeks ago when they had a rebate that reduced them to $40. I havent sent the rebate in yet. Can I go and get get this rebate instead ? I say price match the rebate since I already have the memory just in case my store doesnt have any.
 
I believe just as long as there the same amount of memory usually any module can. Say 256+256,512+512 , 1gig+1gig, etc.

I guess im wondering the same thing. I got this module at $60, but with a $25 mir making it $35. But since I havent sent in the rebate yet can I go and ask for these new rebates so I can get even more back ? That would be cool. But if not, hopefully I can pick up another one of these.
 
Oh and would it be possible just to go with your receipt and ask them to pricematch to this deal ? Im sure they'd just make you out a new receipt along with these new rebates right ? Better then the whole return/rebuy thing. I would think anyway. No having to pull your ram.
 
I actually got jacked...I bought 2 sticks @ 60 each, with 25 MIRs...so I tried to do a return/rebuy...I went in with both receipts, and the guy was like "yea, no problem"...then he was like "oh, since this is one per person, I can only give you one receipt" and then he DIDNT give me the receipt for the other stick of ram. So now I cant send in a 25 MIR since I need the original receipt. So what I'm gonna do now is return one of the sticks, and hopefully catch a new batch of them tuesday or saturday morning

Edit: So before I had 50 in MIRs before...and I actually ended up worse after trying to do a return/rebuy, as I ended up with 42 in MIRs
 
I was thinking about how I would get both rebates since its usually like 1 per household usually. But that just sucks that happened. I guess im just gonna keep the one I got, $25 rebate and hope my store has some left so I could get on this deal. Still total after both rebates its a pretty good deal.

*But then again. You said that happened cuz you had 2 receipts. Maybe ill try to do the return/rebuy then. I have another address I could use to get both rebates. I just hate dealing with csr's, hehe *
 
my local CC was out so i special ordered and got my reciept and rebates. Im going back on saturday to pick it up and it still applies since i special ordered. sweet deal for my system.
