you know if I join CalState Sacramento.. I will have a big delima.. who do I cheer for?

LA Lakers (naturally I am from LA) or the Sacramento Kings (if I go to school there - though I might go to hayward if I find that school better).

i can't believe you have to ask this. :disgust:

If you really have to ask, then just cheer for the kings...the lakers don't need another fair weather fan to cheer them on. The kings are by far a more entertaining and fun team to watch...the lakers, on the other hand, just whine about everything

HA! when laker fans were complaining about the refs after games 2 and 5 the kings fans said the laker fans were whining... but who was whining after game 6? thats right the sorry ass kings fans! HAHA dumbass hipocrits

lakers own the kings!

Damn! Kings fans are STILL whining.

Fox had better get a harsher punishment for this...I mean come on, he went out of his way to start the fight again.
It was over until Fox circled around and started things up again.
They both should get punished, but Fox should get more...otherwise the NBA is totally unfair in their decisions.

christie threw the first punch, fox shouldnt have even been ejected. both players should be penalized by the league though

did you watch the video on espn at all

it was obvious rick fox started the whole thing

or do honestly believe that it was an accident when he hit christie in the face
rolleye.gif

even laker fans should admit that fox is an a-hole even if you disregard last nights events

obviously some here don't play basketball. But when you grab a rebound or the like and you want to clear people out you rotate your body with your elbows extended. Mutumbo, malone etc. does it. All part of the game but christie took exception because these two teams have got some real bad blood. The officiating last year equally bad for both teams. Time to get over it :)

So what if Christie talked trash, almost everyone talks trash, Fox didn't need to push Christie in his face.
And if Fox were the better person he would not have run around back and jump Christie at the locker room, he would have just accepted his punishment.
The little brawl that happens on the court is both of their faults...Christie took too much offense to Fox clearing the area, and that started the on the court brawl.
But running around the back to start the fight again, how old are they and how much are they getting paid to play the game?
Give me a break.

obviously i don't play bball...or i would have known. I think last time I checked, it is a foul to elbow someone in the face though. So I don't see your point. Are you trying to say that fox didn't even foul him?

and secondly, when i talked about whining, I mainly meant kobe. Lately I've been noticing that Kobe complains a lot. In the last like 2 years he's gotten this huge ego and now thinks that he should get a foul called everytime he drives to the hoop. I hate people who think they should get more calls because they are better known players. Kobe is like on of those guys that you play basketball against who always just drives right into you and always calls fouls on you for no reason.

Dude, WTF?! Geez, get over the playoffs and whose ego is bigger and who whines a lot, blah blah blah. If you think Kobe has a big ego and whines, what about Chris Webber and Vlade Divac?! All stars have huge egos because they have the money and skills to back it up. They often get the calls BECAUSE they are the stars. The officiating was piss poor for BOTH teams. This incident was the fault of BOTH players. Stop w/ the finger pointing and enjoy the rivalry.

The Lakers had the better side of the refs. Even the commentators for the games admitted that Shaq gets away with a lot of fouls.

Fox and Christie should be out 7 games IMHO. Both are at fault. Fox should get a heavier monetary fine though, he went out of his way to start the second fight.
